Went to Archie's for the first meal out in 2017 and wasn't disappointed. I have been to the Wellington St location for breakfast many times but this is the first time I have been for dinner. There are a lot of items on the menu and if you're not a fish person Archie's still has lots to offer. Archie's recently got draft beer, I ordered a Coor's light and would suggest they turn the temperature of the keg cooler down a little as it was borderline warm.
The Monday special caught my eye, Seaside Sampler: 1 piece battered Alaskan Pollock , 6 breaded shrimp, onion rings, garlic bread and dessert for $12.45. Talk about value and variety. The fish was good, the shrimp were fried just a little too much for my liking but the onion rings were amazing. My girlfriend was craving fish and chips and ordered the cod. She said it satisfied her craving. The service was good and the staff were friendly. There were only two servers working and the place was half full but we were still well taken care of. I would return and recommend Archie's for both dinner and breakfast.
This place is one of the original seafood restaurants in town. Best meals here are the baked in light batter fish and chips with cod or halibut as the main course. Chips are too plentiful to finish but good tasting. Place is clean and with a diner atmosphere and the service is very good. Price reasonable, food was hot and portions large enough.
Best other bet is their buffet lunch, reasonably priced and with good tasty selections.
Desserts on any meal we have had here were more grocery store type than fresh. Would not hesitate returning.

Good... Clean... sweet waitress... empty but it was snowing outside... I had the sole with rice and veggies, fresh, plain, bland. Won't order again...
Good fish. I love a good halibut and chips. I get the light batter and their home made tartar sauce when I get take out. The fish is excellent, flaky and fresh. Not greasy at all. The serving of chips is huge. Dine in, take out or drive thru are all worth it depending on what you are looking for. Nice clean restaurant and friendly service. Great price for what you get.
Best lunch deal in town. I go here once a month for lunch, fish and chips for 2, good portions for about $22 including taxes and grat.
Yummy. Phone ahead for speedy drive-through service. Baked potato available as alternative to fries. Nice!!
I was really craving fish and chips and this really hit the spot! Went on a Friday night, was served very quickly, and the food was very hot and fresh. Standard deep fried seafood fare at this place, I would go here again!

Had a great lunch with my friend who celebrated her 83 birthday and I must say the service was excellent by our waitress Dianne! Also compliment to the chefs team because the food we ordered was perfectly cooked and very tasty! Well done!

Early morning had a craving for English breakfast😋, but it was snowing❄️, an unexpected snow 😩made me and my friend bit lazy😮💨. But due to food craving even though it’s bit freezing🥶, we took our jackets and marched toward the car and we were deciding where to go food. Then my friend said one thing ( macha treatu ennadu ) “ English translation “ brother I will treat you. Me from inside 🤗🤩😋👬. I drove straight to Archie’s for English breakfast, what an welcoming entry, felt like a old style boat with awesome food and crew. For the first time I started loving snow coz we were next to window. Ordered haddock with fries and grilled salmon. I have fish and chips before, but this had me flatten for food. We both were high on food. Too good, awesome food and service. Order one meal first, can go bit heavy for two people. We had two meal for two of us( heavy people😁). Try sweet potato fries and onion rings as a side. End of the meal we were like totally full and we both said our next meal will be tomorrow 😋🤣
We ordered take out and we're really impressed! The portion size was huge! We all - including Our 6 year old LOVED everything! The folks were super friendly and helpful!
Went out for dinner and it was amazing! The food came quick and was delicious! Lauren was our server and she was absolutely great, very personable, friendly, helpful and patient! Wish all servers could be like she is! Can’t wait for our next visit
Great weekend brunch buffet especially if you're a fish and chip lover. Brunch buffet includes their signature battered fish and all your favourite breakfast fixings. Visited many times staff are always friendly and buffet selection stocked and fresh.
Way too much dressing on the Ceasar salad and i didn't find the staff too friendly, but I'd still go back for the food and atmosphere. They were packed so they're doing something right!
The service and greeting from both our waitress and manager was outstanding. Very good dine in experience. So much so I told both of them when I left.
My family thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Portions are large and I noticed most customers took home a doggy bag including us. Highly recommended and appreciated.

Opening in mid 80's I still experienced outstanding food and great service. Best steamed fresh carrots & broccoli that did not come out of a bag to accompany their awesome fish.
It is a good place for fish lover. Ask them before you order if the fish is fresh ? My last visit was cool. I love it
Great selection of fish food dishes, affordable prices and friendly environment.. I personally love the breakfast buffet, all you can eat including eggs, sausages, bacon!!! Some variety of salads and fruits and unlimited coffee cups! 😋

I think the materials of food are cheap, I will not give more bad things because I don't like to harm the business but I am sure they can improve more
