Stopped in for a quick pint and a bite. Was very impressed by the treasure trove of military regalia that adorned the walls of this establishment. Its almost as if you can enjoy a nice cold beer amidst a Royal Canadian Armed Forces Gallery. Another fusion of theams that I picked up on was " 1920's Speak Easy meets Jr Ranks Mess. That seems like a good segway into what i would describe as a "Weak" beer situation. I did have the opportunity to wet my whistle with a beautiful Boddingtons Pub Ale, but I was hard pressed to find any of the gorgeous local Craft Brews we have available @ a close proximity, on Tap. That being said, I was the benificiary of a wonderful "Cobb Salad Wrap" that just so happened to be half price on Wednesday. To top it all off the Service staff was fast and very pleasant to deal with. As always i would remind you to always tip your waitstaff. Cheers!
Finally got around to checking this gem out tonight. Great atmosphere, excelent service, sizable Scotch list and a good late night menu. I look forward to returning soon to see the whole menu and try some more Scotch!!
Great atmosphere, very warm and inviting. Also the staff is very friendly and we had a catered brunch buffet and it was rather delicious.
Excellent dessert, try the chocolate cookie skillet. Excellent whiskey and bourbon, try the Eagle Rare 10yr.
We have visited The Pub several times and have always had great food and great service. The place is spotlessly clean with great ambiance. Last visit was a Wednesday at 2 pm, our server informed us of all the specials and the fact that appetizers were 1/2 price.
Our drink order came quickly and food order arrived just as fast. The food was great but, I do prefer my Spinach/Artichoke dip to be a little bit spicier and thinner.
We will return again....
Went here a week ago and went when they had half price appetizers. I had the crisps and the beef burger appetizers. Kenney was super!
Came in today for half price apps, very satisfied. The service was great, had the manager as our server who gave us just he right amount of attention with out feeling like he was going through the motions of asking "how it was". The food was great, tried the pickled spears, sliders, spicy garlic shrimp ad pigs in blankets. Everything tasted great, was served fresh and hot.
We plan on coming back, would recommend to anyone to try, Harp on tap was a big bonus for me.
Great place to be. The manager gave me and my friends a great recommendation on wine. Very busy there on Wednesday and Thursday but the crowd adds to the atmosphere there. 5 Stars! They have a lower lounge area with huge sofas for groups. You can't see it vy looking in from outside through the window but go in and check this place out.
Stopped in to check out the new pub on Richmond, in short we were very satisfied. Had a drink and nachos with my husband. The service was prompt and attentive. The nachos were good I especially loved the bbq flavour pulled chicken on them! All around great atmosphere.
Beautiful inside and out....love the decor. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Food was amazing. We had onion soup, cauliflower bites...so amazing! And fish and chips....5 out of 5.... Not greasy and large portions. Will definitely be back!
