This was my first visit and had an extremely positive experience .Let's start with the restaurant/cafe...not a great area of town but theyre super clean its bright and I loved the decor. The food was delicious ( I had breakfast ) great menu as well as prices . I was told the proceeds ( or a portion goes back into the community .5 star service and everyone was extremely professional and friendly(especially Nicole who was my server) They have a little gift shop which helps woman and I would definitely recommend. Cute hidden gem in the heart of the city .
It is a brightly lit, centrally located, Cafe where the food and barista beverages are soo good. The staff is friendly and knows their products.
I love when businesses not only acknowledge the homeless, and allow them to sit inside the restaurant, but also make it possible/ available for patrons who wish to help by just buying a simple cup of coffee for another human being. Look at the number of times that people have shown kindness. It''s more than 44,000. I want to also add that a lot of people complain either rightly or not right about the homeless problem that we have in this city ( which is significant), however, here is a business that is wrapping its arms around these people who are not the problem. They are just a symptom of a broken down system. It is located "kitty-corner" to a homeless mission -so you know that there's a lot of need for kindness and acknowledgment.
Very nice space to have coffee and hang out! I had the daily special hazelnut oat milk latte and it was very nice, not too sweet. They also offer almond milk for non-dairy milk options. Friends had veggie omelettes that came with a sides of delicious mix of sweet potatoes and regular potatoes, and 2 slices of toast that had a gluten free option. Too bad it isn't located closer to the downtown area, but overall a very open and relaxed space. Our barista was very friendly as well!
