just felt like a little salad and some fresh Italian pizza so I opted for the Caesar and the spicy salami pizza with Renato's homemade chili oil, heat level was perfect, meat was nice and flavorful, crust was thin, it was just perfect as was the Caesar salad... service was excellent... can't wait to go back again we finished off with Renato's style of zabaione which was also light and delicious
I Decided to try this newer place for their specialty Italian breakfasts. This was the former home of the Toddle Inn, a Richmond Street popular restaurant for almost 30 years.
I had the Eggs Carbonara with a side of bacon and coffee. Partner had the Italian Skillet.
My meal consisted of two baked eggs atop a bed of mixed vegetables and bathed in tasty carbonara sauce. Partner had two scrambled eggs atop a copious amount of potatoes and a healthy serving of fresh bacon. We both added coffee to our meal and everything was served pretty efficiently and hot.
Some parking available and the interior was bright and clean. Viewed their lunch and dinner menu and looked interesting. Not really any negatives here and would have no problem returning.
Should have more of an internet presence with full menu on line as most diners are checking these days before making a choice. Being part of the upcoming popular Londonlicious would also be good for this newer restaurant entry. A little pricey but worth it for a change of pace from the norm. I never let price dictate my restaurant choices as we view each place as an adventure. If more money means good service, clean environment, food prepared hot and according to description and choices not readily cooked at home then so be it. It is well worth the effort.
I love this place! I dine in at least once a week. Love the spaghetti bolognese, penne amatriciana, fettucinni alfredo, I can go on and on. The mussels and tiramisu are also excellent. The place is cozy and comfortable. Prices are reasonable. Oh yeah, the breakfast menu also has some unique dishes such as Italian-style poached eggs. Yum!
Feels very cramped, like they are in a hallway so when you walk past the first couple tables you have to squeeze between other patrons and the wall.
We did ask to be seated in the very back, which I think was a mistake because the lights are all at eye level and the entire bulb is visible so it's a little blinding if you want to look at each other.
They brought out chilled purified spring water in a sealed bottle, which I was unable to open and had to wait for my partner to come back from the restroom to open it. They did not have a non alcoholic drink menu but they did have soda and nestea when we asked.
My food was good, my partner's food was good. Other than being cramped it was a pleasant atmosphere and if I'm ever in the area I'll probably visit again.
I ordered the Asparagus Pasta, with 4 cheese sauce instead of the white wine sauce. There was one, maybe two cut up stalks of asparagus in my pasta, very lacking.
My partner ordered the steak stroganoff and it was fairly tasty.
We also ordered the mozzarella balls, they were fairly decent sized, about 4 bites per ball for me, about two bites for my partner.
The garlic bread was not worth buying. It was five dollars for two small slices of bread.
What an amazing experience at Renato's! The food is delicious, the service was excellent and the price was fair. I'm definitely coming back
Amazing handmade pasta. The bruschetta was to die for. Literally a hidden gem in london. Would 100% come back. The service was great and the aesthetic made me feel like I was in Italy again!
Every single pasta I’ve tried has been outstanding. Quality is unmatched. Love the unique pasta creations it offers. 10 out of 10. Not to mention their amazing customer service. ALSO great portion sizes !
Restaurant is a nice quaint Italian place to dine. You can tell immediately that the food ingredients are made in-house. The food came out hot with a nice blend of flavours. Waitress Lexi was very pleasant and welcoming. She provided some nice recommendations. Prices are very reasonable given the quality of food. I will be back.

It’s a very lovely place. We got a Diavolo Pizza and it was absolutely delicious. The taste of the tomato sauce they used in the pizza was really good.
Overall the food is great and the atmosphere is even better.
Phenomenal Food and Experience. Came here with the parents for a meal and was not disappointed by the most authentic Italian dish I've ever had, my compliments to the chef. Food was absolutely delicious all around, atmosphere was quiet and cozy and the waitress is very personable and kind along with the owner and chef who came to talk to us after our meal. Will definitely be returning.
By far the best dining experience I've had in the entire city, 5 stars truly doesn't feel like enough.
Perfect place for date night or a family night. Ordered the pasta and the pizza and it was flawless. Would definitely go again.
By far the most authentic Italian pizza you're gonna get in London. As if you were in Napoli itself. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the staff very pleasant! I ordered my specific toppings I like on the pizza and they delivered with perfection. Breakfasts are great as well. Fully recommend Renato's.
Renato, chef/owner offers a good variety of Italian dishes and we greatly enjoyed the bruschetta, Caesar salad and the daily special pasta with shrimp and mushrooms in a rose sauce, each of which was plentiful, of excellent quality and great value. We had a warm welcome from Joel and Renato and will certainly return when we visit London again.
Amazing place serving delicious pastas. Fettuccine seafood is our choice.
Very pleasant authentic atmosphere.
This London local restaurant is such a special place with INCREDIBLE FOOD! I've been here so many times and it never disappoints. The staff is so kind and you truly get a taste of authentic Italian food right here in London. Also the prices are very reasonable!
We went the day after Valentine's to avoid the crowds; best decision ever.
Renato, owner and chef, took the time to sit with us and tell us his life story while we enjoyed his amazing penne Alfredo with smoked salmon and fettuccine a la marinera.
If you want excellent authentic Italian cuisine this is the place; we will be coming back frequently.
Excellent service. Delicious food. Pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend.
