We tried her on our pizza tour! We are so glad we did! Amazing pizza...both deep dish and thin crust. Out of 5 stars this is how we feel about the pizza. Crust How did it taste and was it easy to wrangle? 4.5 both Sauce How likely would you be to eat this with a spoon? 4.5 Cheese Was there too much or too little cheese? Was it gross when it cooled down? 5 Toppings Ratio Was there enough of everything? Was anything too overpowering? 5 Value Is this a pizza you could afford to make a habit? 3.5 Charisma This is how all of the above comes together, and can include the restaurant and ambiance. 5 Total Rating How does this pizza compare to my favourite in the world? 4.5 My daughter and husband also tried the stuffed pickles and loved them.

Great place with fair pricings and deals. Heard so much about the deep dish which was good. Will definitely come back to try other dishes besides the pizza.

Updated Review: We just had dine in dinner and it was phenomenal! We started with the stuffed mushroom caps and cheesy garlic bread and it was amazing. The garlic bread was super cheesy and the mushroom caps were stuffed full! My husband and I had panzerottis, they were twice the size of my hand and stuffed full of toppings and cheese. My mom had the penne pasta and the portion was big and full of toppings. And my dad had the spicy Sammy, it was huge and the perfect amount of spicy. I’ll definitely be back, there are so many more menu items I want to try!

We ordered deep dish pizzas around 6 pm on a Thursday. The pies were ready when expected. They were hot and delicious. I've never had deep dish pizza from anywhere else to compare, but the ones from Formaggios were very good. While the food was take out, waiting in the restaurant it had a lively and friendly atmosphere. The staff I dealt with were very pleasant.

Wow is all I can say You will not be disappointed My daughter also had this as part of her make a wish when we lived in London This is one place we surely miss but highly recommend!

Hands down one of the best pizzas we have ever had. Let me preface with with the fact that this isn’t your “traditional” deep dish pizza nor is it something you want to get if you’re not literally obsessed with cheese. Now that said. Don’t think of going hear & leaving a bad review because they use too much cheese or it’s “not a real deep dish”. Do your research and make sure it’s something you’ll like before going there. Moving along. We drive over an hour and half to get this pizza & it’s worth every bit of hassle. The toppings, the sauce, side dipping sauces are all amazing. I highly recommend their garlic ranch & chipotle mayo for dipping. The nachos are a bit pricey as they usually are at most places. But here they are totally worth it. They are COVERED from corner to corner will toppings and cheese! They don’t hold back at all! Everything on their menu is great. But you have to experience the deep dish at least once!

EZ 9/10 deep dish pizza. Super crunchy crust, zesty sauce and ample amount of cheese. Excellent.

Worth the drive!!! I had the stuffed deep dish pizza that was cooked to perfection, cheese browned on top and the crust great tasting while holding together the HUGE amount of cheese and toppings. The service was excellent and friendly. I live over an hour away and will be making trek again.

I love the tiny back of the house experience. Service was awesome! Pizza was different and good. It's a ton of dough, toppings and cheese! A small was enough for 2. Came out to $27 with tip. Less than fast food and worth it!

We are here out of town staying at an Airbnb and heard great things about the pizza here, but we were not very prepared to give our delivery info while ordering. Sienna took our order and was very patient, accommodating, and extremely friendly. Pizza was good, had the large deep dish. Really filling and loaded with toppings inside. It's literally a pizza pie. Pizza was good, but customer service was even better. Thanks Sienna!

I'm brand new to London but a friend recommended that I come try out the deep dish pizza and I have to say, after getting the large 4 of us couldn't even finish it. They were even super cool with us coming in 20-25 minutes before close, something I generally hate and feel terrible doing as a kitchen staff member myself. Our waitress also made sure to recommend the bacon bits which I would normally avoid but Formaggios will definitely be my exception as their bacon bits are real and plentiful. I'll definitely be returning many times in the future as the pizza was incredible and the service was super friendly. Very chill environment too, really cool how they make use of their keg fridge. Would definitely recommend if you're a pizza fanatic and have a hard time filling your stomach, will not disappoint.

Our server Ligia was fantastic. Very friendly and personable. The wait for the food was a bit much, but she was energetic, bright, smiley and suggested we ordered apps for the wait. We got the combo platter and a few beers and were not disappointed. Great service, this one always smiling and positive. Makes you want to come back. And Eleni and Anita are great as well 💯👍 😁😁😁😁😁😁

This place was fantastic! We were here for the first time on Monday. The food was awesome. The price was great - pasta was on sale for $12.99.. can’t beat that. I had a small deep dish pizza. 2.5 meals out of each order! Service was excellent as well. We will definitely be back.

The man who took my order was so extremely nice and welcoming. It's clean and inviting. The food was really good, so good that we couldn't wait to take a photo...we just dug in

I just had their deep dish pizza for the first time and it was awesome. I had a personal size, made with bacon, ham and pineapple, with their home-made original sauce (see the attached pictures - I did have a slice before taking these pictures). I loved how much toppings, cheese and sauce they used. I would definitely recommend this place to put on your list of places to try out. They also have a nice little dine-in area on the backside of the restaurant too.

Ordered delivery from Formaggio’s as a first time customer. Indicated right away on the order that they were busy and delivery time would be a little longer which I appreciated knowing ahead of time and before order placed. Ordered there famous deep dish which I had heard so much about. The pizza isn’t cheap, but I believe you get what you pay for. This was by far, the BEST pizza we have eaten. All great and fresh ingredients and well put together. Amazing crust!! The delivery ended up coming in at the original time which was great also. Will definitely order again. You have a niche Formaggio’s, don’t change a thing!!

This is an amazing and unique pizza definitely worth a try. We had a hot sausage, pepperoni and bacon that was amazing. Had 2 larges split into 2 types and it wasn't cheap but it was really good. I would definitely go back in a heartbeat.

Formaggios has amazing deep dish pizza. The deep dish pizza isnt cheap but well worth the price. The deep dish pie is stuffed with toppings and cheese. The large is like a 5 pound pizza. It will feed several people. The pizza has a crazy amount of cheese on it. Great pizza. You have to try it.

I have been staying in London for some extended duration due to medical treatments and have been craving a really good authentic pizza that has it all, especially a great tasting sauce and cheese. Well, we went through the rankings and stumbled on this place....I would drive hours just for the pizza. THE BEST DEEP DISH I HAVE EVER HAD anywhere. The toppings are incredible, the the cheese combo. You will never leave hungry thats for sure. The guy making the pizza really is an expert at this and knows how to hit it out the park....super nice guy too and server was wonderful.

The restaurant is located next to Billy T's in a small plaza in North London. The kitchen is behind the order desk so the entire creative process is transparent. Staff was pleasant and seemed to be happy working there.<br/>They do have a room that is open for eat in several days a week.<br/><br/>First of all if you don't like a lot of cheese and don't understand Italian be wary of this place. Formaggio is Italian for cheese and they use plenty. Also don't go here if you are looking for an ordinary pizza or do not want to spend more than a franchise charges. Pizzas here are unique and high priced compared to frozen or franchise.<br/>We ordered for pick up the medium deep dish with mushrooms, pepperoni, red peppers, black olives and packed with their home made sweet sauce.<br/>It lived up to the many opinions on this site.<br/>The only complaint we had was not the fault of Formaggio's as I was there to pick it up when it came out of the oven. It cooled off by the 15 minutes it took to get home and cheese hardened a bit on top. Suggest eating in for a hot pizza. Would have no problem returning and ordering one of their regular pizzas.

Oh. My. Goodness. The deep dish pizza here shouldn't really be called pizza. There's just so much to it, they don't skimp on the toppings and their original sauce is just great. But the cheese. There's more cheese than crust and toppings. There's so much cheese that you'd have a cheese pull the length of an Olympic swimming pool. It's almost too much. Almost. If you haven't tried the deep dish here then order now before they stop delivering to your area!

Had a 3 item large deep dish. $38. It was awesome but more like a Panzerotti on its side than pizza. Thick heavy cheese which I love so be prepared for the price and a thick slice of heaven!

While a little pricey, this is undoubtedly the best pizza that London has to offer. For all you pizza lovers out there, Fromaggio's is a must try.

I'm glad I finally bucked up and tried this place . I had a deep dish medium with pepperoni mushroom and bacon. It was definitely good - but I wouldn't pay 40$ for a pizza again ( delivery and tip included in that ). It wasn't overwhelming great for me . I honestly felt silly spending that much but I heard heard nothing but good things about the deep dish . I will definitely order from them again- just not something so expensive .

Formaggio's Pizza. Best pizza I have had in London!!

Med Pizza. This pizza is sooo cheesy.. I would even say too cheesy it sent me to the bathroom after 2 slices. And also so cheesy that when you try to take the slice out of the box all the toppings fall off. Would not eat this again, 2 med pizzas with delivery around the corner for 40.00! Frank and Gus way better especially for the same price!!!!

Just to let everyone know .....there is Pizza in Heaven. I want to thanks Chris and his staff for hosting my wifes birdthday party this past Thursday night and making this night one to remember. I always thought that pizza was pizza but clearly I have been living under a rock because Formaggio's serves up pizza that is rivaled by no one in the city of London. Chris at Formaggios was a very gratious host and attentive to all our needs during our party and sucessfully converted most my family to his one of a kind pizza and words could never do justice ,his mouth watering "garlic bread" as well.<br/><br/>Chris you and your staff were amazing and your pizza was better than you. I thank you for all you did for us Thursday night. <br/><br/>Great Job !!

My Formaggio’s experience.<br/><br/>The first time my friend and I visited Formaggio’s we watched Chris making some pizzas and watched pizzas going into the oven.<br/><br/>My friend and I looked at each other and couldn’t believe what we were seeing. “Is that a normal pizza or is that an extra everything pizza” “No my friend, that is how we make all our pizzas at Formaggios” Chris said with a smile.<br/><br/>Needless to say we were not disappointed and a little shocked that we could really only eat a couple pieces. <br/><br/>I tell everyone that will listen that it is the best pizza in town and nobody that has tried it has ever disagreed with me.<br/><br/>Try it, you won’t be disappointed and may I make one suggestion? USE TWO HANDS TO PICK UP THE BOX.<br/><br/>Oh yah, and my mom who doesn’t ever like eating out now eats something from Formaggio’s at least once a week.

Fantastic pizza, staff are great..... But apparently they only have 1 phone line..... If a person can't get through, after 45 minutes.... THEY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.... And may take a while to come back.......

Excellent Pie. Wow!!! we finally have found a decent pizza place in London. Tried it today for the first time what an excellent, incredible pizza. Full of flavor, loaded with toppings covering an incredible thin crust. Their attention to creating our pizza was much appreciated. I would highly recommend Formaggio's if you want a great pizza. We live in Old South London and will continue to make the trek to Formaggio's for our pizza. Nothing like it anywhere in London and well worth the drive.

Not quite right. Conveyor style pizza....that says it all....not a clue. 10 lbs of cheese on a pizza does not make it good. 23 dollars for a pepperoni pizza says i will not be back.

Incredible!. I knew when I called for the first time that this was a great place! The staff member who answered the phone was super friendly and very nice. Even if the staff were grouchy and crusty (no pun intended), which they weren't, the quality of the pizza alone would keep me coming back. I love this place and you will too.<br/><br/>Dan

Got deep dish, will try regular pizza. We got pizza from there after reading reviews on here. It was pretty tasty. we went big (or went home) and got their deep dish - with the recommended toppings of their homemade pizza sauce and bacon included with others. It was delicious. We used to stop at Mickey's in Mississauga sometimes for their deepdish - so it's nice to know there is a solid one in London. I am excited to try their regular pizza, because I've learned I'm not a massive fan of the way deep dish is prepared (I know, right? I was surprised too!) But I definitely recommend this place - the staff was great and the wait time was normal or reasonable. I think the prices were comparable as well.

Great Pizza, Friendly Service!. We tried Formaggio's pizza for the first time today. It was FABULOUS! Great crust, delicious homemade sauce, lots of cheese and the bacon was the best. It was nice crisp strips of bacon, not the fake stuff you get from the chains. The other pizzas that were being made looked wonderful too with lots of fresh ingredients. The place was immaculate and the staff were super friendly, even on a busy Friday night. I can't wait to go back.

Amazing Pizza. I love Pizza. I don't eat it very often because I'm a woman and I want to fit into my clothes, and if I'm going to consume a great deal of calories it better be outstanding! Formaggios is outstanding, from the home made spicy tomato sauce, to the masses of cheese, this is a true nom nom pizza! The deep dish is very Chicago style, the classic is very New York where you can fold it in half and I eat it. A lot of people quibble over pizza styles, New York or Chicago and this place does both perfectly! The toppings are ultra fresh and quality, and I usually get a Caesar salad as well which has plenty of fresh reggiano, bacon and croutons. In my opinion this is the best pizza place in town, we had a deep dish that was heavenly tonight, like a casserole it had so much cheese and toppings and a lovely crisp crust! A must try!

Incredible!!!. I was reading the reviews, and I can't believe that one negative review that attempts to suggest that Soprano Pizza is better. Had she not compared the two companies I would have just ruled it out to bad timing because apparently she ordered during a winter storm. ...but there is no way that you can even compare the two companies.<br/><br/>Please keep in mind, I am not saying that Soporano's makes bad pizza, I am simply stating that Formaggio's is real pizza! - There's a difference.<br/><br/>Some people are just nutty. I order from Formaggio's all the time and their Pizza is AMAZING!!!. I almost had given up on Pizza delivery in London until I found them. They make real pizza!<br/><br/>Also, everything on their menu is great. They make a mean deep dish pizza! Their Nacho's are by far the best I have ever had for delivery, and please don't get me started on their Montreal Smoked meat Sandwich.<br/><br/>Try them yourself and you will see what I mean. <br/><br/>Thank you Formaggio's for bringing Windsor Quality Pizza to London and don't let that crazy woman bother you, some people are just nutty.

Always delicious and so so friendly!. My boyfriend and I have lived in London for almost two years and have been so disappointed with the pizza restaurant options. We were wary to try Formaggio's as it was out of our regular 'cheap pizza' budget, but we splurged one night and will never go back. The ingredients are so fresh, and although the pizza is thin crust, we were stuffed after 2 pieces! Normally we could pack away 4 or more of our regular cheap pizza, so we got way more bang for our buck at Formaggio's! The staff is so fast and friendly which is so refreshing. I don't think we'll ever order takeout pizza from another restaurant -- Formaggio's, you've found lifelong customers!

Worst Pizza EVER!!!!!. Decided to order Formaggio's last weekend during the storm after reading all the amazing reviews. We had high hopes and were very quickly let down. The pizza was SO bland and the crust was like BRICK ROCK! There was absolutely no flavour whatsoever! If we could have return it, we would have. It was honestly the worst pizza I have ever tasted, especially for the inflated price we paid. Two medium pizza for over 40 bucks is an complete rip off!!! Will never eat from here again! Soprano's pizza is definitely #1 in my books.

The Best. I was visiting London from Sault Ste. Marie, a city that There is not pizza in the Soo that holds a candle to Fromaggio's! This was one of the best pizza's i have ever tried. Keeps up the great work!

A Slice Of Heaven. As a foodie, I am embarrassed to admit that I just FINALLY got around to tasting the brilliance that is Formaggio's. <br/><br/>I read all of the overwhelmingly positive reviews and my interest reached an all time peak. A friend/work colleague of mine decided that it was about time I was introduced to "Pizza Heaven."<br/><br/>I sampled the Meat Lover's Pizza and was immediately sold! <br/><br/>- The sauce was zesty and flavourful<br/>- The toppings were entirely fresh<br/>- The amount of cheese was criminal in the best way possible<br/>- The crust was perfectly cooked <br/><br/>It's not just one of the best pizza joints in London, but arguably one of the best within the region. I plan on being a loyal customer for many years to come.

Perfection!. This is by far the best pizza I have ever had! The deep dish pizza is absolutely scrumptious with oodles of awesome cheese. "LOVE IT!" I have also tried the chicken pizza and it is delicious too! Everything is fresh and just complete perfection. I will continue to be a loyal customer to this establishment. :)

Great Pizza. I have ordered from Formaggio's twoice. First time I ordered an extra large with the regular sauce and it was kind of bland but the toppings were excellent and there was lots of cheese. The second time I ordered a Medium Canadian pizza with their "spiced" sauce. The sauce was great with nice heat to it but not overpowering and the toppings were excellent. I also ordered some garlic break with cheese which was huge and very good. The only take out place in the city that I know of that serves a high quality thing crust pizza.

Pretty disappointing. I ordered the deep dish pizza with high expectations because Fromaggio's was rated 96% on urbanspoon. But, it was very disappointing. The entire pizza was practically all cheese. The amount of cheese on the pizza was very overwhelming and they didn't put a lot of toppings into the deep dish. The crust was also burnt. This tastes nothing like the deep dish I tried in Chicago. Very poor attempt on the part of Formaggio's. Please don't waste your money.

Great Pizza!!!. I ordered pizza from here for the fist time for an after work function. I was very impressed. Great thin crust pizza with real ingredients that were very fresh!! I also took some home to my spouse who first commented that he liked the fact that the toppings actually went to the edge instead of just being all crust. I will for sure be ordering or picking up from here again in the near future.

Very good place. To the one poster complaining about the bacon being frozen crumble, i think you must have been at a different place because its been real bacon, not frozen everytime ive been there. Garlic bread is unique and very good, nachos and caesar salad also good. The deep dish was just incredible. Worth the cost. Anxious to try their lasagna too.

I made a mistake. Earlier I wrote that Formaggio's does not use real bacon, but it was a mistake. I later found out that they do, it was just a miscommunication on a phone call. I never did actually order the meats, that was until today.<br/><br/>I was craving Pizza today and I ordered a Deep dish with salami, bacon, and pepperoni. It was unbelievable!!!! The bacon is the best bacon I have ever had on a Pizza. They really do use fresh toppings.<br/><br/>I will be ordering there at least once a week. I tried to retract my negative review, but for some reason it won't let me.<br/><br/>I highly recommend their Pizza folks!

Absolutely Amazing!!!!. I absolutely LOVE this place! I order their Nacho's on a regular basis and their deep dish at least twice a month. I have never had better Pizza than this place. They use real pieces of bacon. BIG pieces that are cooked well, so they have not fat on them. The Salami they use is amazing. <br/><br/>I just can't get enough of this place because of how good the Pizza tastes. I found this place through Urban spoon six months ago, so I figured I would give back by sharing my experiences.<br/><br/>The pizza is pricey...but let me tell you, you need to hold the pizza with two hands.. BEST Tasting Quality Pizza in London. If you want cardboard order from somewhere else. If you want to taste what a real Pizza should taste like...splurge and get their Deep Dish Pizza!!!<br/><br/>:-)

We Love pizza and make all of our meals like we were eating ourselves. Based on the reviews, I had to try the deep dish pizza. I ordered it with mushroom, bacon and sausage. Problem was that I asked the meat toppings to be changed to veg ones if the bacon and sausage are frozen crumble meats. Turned out they were and I was extremely disappointed a pizza place with high reviews would use cheap tasteless toppings. I mean, come on. Real bacon and real sausage are not hard to use.

Great game night meal. Had friends over who had claimed Formaggio's was best pizza in London so we ordered the game night meal for dinner. Meal came with a loaded nacho's and extra lg pizza. Pizza was amazing (recommend the spicy sauce). Nachos were loaded with fresh toppings and very filling. For 5 of us we still had left overs later that night. Over all great experience, this is our new and from now on only spot to order from.

AMAZING!!. We ordered the deep dish family special. The deep dish pizza was AMAZING, we had it made with their spicy sauce. The crust is thin and flaky, really very tasty. The toppings were fresh and so much delicious cheesy goodness!! Caesar salad was great and we also ordered Garlic bread with cheese....so much cheese, amazing fresh foccacia bread and real garlic. I highly recommend Formaggio's. We will never order pizza, deep dish or otherwise, from anywhere else. The customer service was also superb, really friendly and inviting.

Amazing deep dish!. Had a deep dish pizza from Formaggio's last week... my god, I think it was the best pizza I've ever had in my life. Absolutely loaded with toppings, and their sweet tomato sauce is perfect! I live on the other side of the city, but I'll be ordering from here again for sure!

Great deep dish!. Have been ordering now from Formaggio's every week and love the pizza and Naco's combo! Last night we ordered the new Deep dish and Salad (which was so fresh) that is on the menu. Great Pie!. To make a long story short I've been in London over 14 years and couldn't find a pizza I really enjoyed...until I tried Formaggio's on Sunday. Nice thin crust, nice sauce, and reasonably priced for a large. I live in South London but will definately be making another trip.

Best Pizza. I seldom eat pizza because I just don't like it that much and often allergic to the ingredients. Formaggilo's had really good reviews on Urbanspoon so decided to tried it out. Fantastic! Finally found a pizza that I love :) Thanks.

Finally a decent pizza in London!!!. We tend to be fairly particular when it comes to our pizza. We have tried many supposedly “great” places and have been extremely disappointed, but after searching all over London we finally found a place that holds up to its reputation. The toppings were fresh, the crust was awesome and the price was totally reasonable. They were extremely friendly on the phone and they even delivered to us way across town without charging an astronomical amount. We absolutely recommend this place and will be ordering again.

Amazing Pizza!. I ordered the pizza combo with salad and garlic bread. It was one of the best pizza I have had. It is not your tipical pizza pizza or dominoes, a pleasant change. The salad was fresh, and although I don't like garlic bread, my wife has ordered it just for that.

Delicious. We have ordered pizza from Formaggios 3 times, and every time I am more and more impressed! Their sauce is amazing, their ingredients taste so fresh! And their crust is perfect! YOu have a committed customer here!

Great!!!. Tried Frommaggio's tonight on the recommendation of a friend. We had an order of beef nacho's and a strommboli. Both were tasty, loaded and we enjoyed them very much. We will definitely be ordering from Frommagio's Pie Shack again. Can't wait to try the pizza which is supposed to be excellent also! Price is extremely reasonable.
