I ordered the grilled lemongrass chicken with fish sauce and the fresh veggie rolls with peanut sauce. Grilled chicken had plenty of meat and not just tendons and skin like in other spots. I liked it a lot! Good flavour.
The fresh rolls were pretty good too and the peanut sauce was a standout star for me. I put some of it on the grilled chicken too because it was so good.
Came with two fortune cookies as well! Nice addition.
Overall good food delivery experience. I like them and will try other food items they have…perhaps I will pick a Pho and some Spring Rolls next!
Service is always delightful at Thuan Kieu, especially from the owner/manager Tiu. He always greets everyone and checks up on all the guests if they need anything. The food here is always exceptional and tastes like authentic Vietnamese cuisine. However, the spring rolls that we ordered from our last visit, I didn't like. It's supposed to have pork and shrimp as filling but I didn't taste any meat in there. It tasted like it had sweet potato as filling? I am not sure if they served us the wrong fried spring rolls (maybe they gave us the vegetarian one?), to be fair we didn't ask if it was the right one. But the special vermicelli and the pork and chicken with rice were both phenomenal, like always.
Ordered takeout from Thuan Kieu. It was ready when I arrived which is awesome especially when I walked in to pick it up and the dinning room was packed. I ordered the bbq beef skewer leaf rolls and the chicken with noodles and black bean sauce. The g.f. went with the pad thai. The beef skewers were amazing, I wish I ordered 2. Great flavour on the black bean chicken and solid portion size. The g.f. enjoyed the pad thai so much that she went back 3 days later and ordered some for lunch. I would recommend Thuan Kieu and will return to explore their menu further.
Love the food here! The portions are great, and the food is so flavourful. You will not leave hungry.

My go to order - spring rolls and chicken soup!
Every time I feeling slightly depleted of nutrients or on the brink of a cold, I have a large soup and it heals me!
I have come to thuan kieu very often in the past few years, whenever there is a rainy day or just craving a flavourful soup! I have decided to leave a 5 star review because the quality of the food and customer service is very consistent! Today we didn’t wait long for our food and the manager/ owner was very friendly with us and the other tables around us. Our waitress was also very polite and kind. I ordered the Tom yum soup (very spicy and full or flavour) and my boyfriend ordered shrimp pho.
We also ordered the bbq pork chops (A MUST TRY or shrimp if you prefer)
In the past I have also tried the pad Thai and Thai style fried rice and you will not be disappointed. Portions are big and enough to share!
I took my family here for lunch. The food is good at a decent price, portion size is decent, you definitely will be full. Definitely one of the nicer Vietnamese restaurant in London. I would definitely comeback again

It is always a pleasure to see the proprietor as he miraculously recalls all of our names and hometowns no matter how much time passes.

Favourite Vietnamese restaurant in London! Their pho is always delicious and the serving sizes are generous. The restaurant itself is also very clean and sits many people. Even when busy, their service is great.
Before starting my shift at work, I ate some pho at Thuan Kieu Vietnamese Restaurant. The restaurant is located in the Northland Plaza at Highbury and Huron.
Right away, your server will offer you complementary miso to drink. Every item on the menu has a corresponding number. When you’ve decided what you want, they get you to write down those numbers on a piece of paper.
For my meal, I chose the Jackfruit Shake to go with their Beef & Beef Flank Rice Noodle Soup. The jackfruit tasted floral, almost like a perfume. And the soup was nothing short of amazing. I could taste the passion of someone who perfected their craft.
My bill came to $21.
This was my third time going. . . and I can’t wait till I visit again.
