As a new Liverpool vegan resident I was super happy to walk into this bakery and see so many vegan pantry staples I'm going to need in the future! Having all thier frozen alternative meat options was very comforting. Five girls bakery definitely is making my transition from a big city w numerous dietary options very easy! Also, amazing sourdough, love the crust!

Delicious brown bread. Half a loaf eaten en route to the car. Raspberry and blueberry pinwheels equally as good and not too sweet.

What a fantastic find in Liverpool! We had spent a weekend near Liverpool a couple summers ago and had tried to get to this bakery then but it was closed in weekends... so this time we ordered ahead and visited in Friday before heading to our weekend accommodation. Delicious sourdough breads, pastries and an awesome selection of foods, coffee, and household items. We can't wait to visit again on our next trip to Liverpool!

Fantastic fresh bread. I was passing through on vacation and bought a loaf of the wholemeal soughdough and was not disappointed. At 10am it was still warm fresh out of the oven. A few hours later when I made some sandwiches from it I discovered an even and firm constancy - neither too dry nor too moist, and it sliced perfectly. If I lived near here I would buy all my bread here! And it was reasonably priced.

I've been to this place numerous times since its opened. The owner is an absolute sweetheart and always has something delicious to recommend. They have the best muffins I've ever had, and the chocolate croissant is something I dream about!
