A hidden gem of a place in Langford's Goldstream Village tucked away beside City Hall.
We ordered Tuna Toro Roll, Salmon Cowboy, and Dynamite and all were very good. Not huge in size but intentional so every bite is fresh, flavourful and just right. Prices are pretty appropriate for the portion. Menu is limited, making preparation manageable for the lone sushi chef. Can see how this place could get quite busy with only two staff members working. Patience is key. It was a little bit of a wait for our food. Restaurant is tiny, quaint and very clean, and service is friendly and attentive - the couple are nice, hardworking people and genuinely care about the experience offered to customers visiting their restaurant. There were only two tables occupied when we visited on a Tuesday evening, with many people stopping in for take-out. We noticed everyone else were "regulars" on a first name basis with the owners. Can't wait to go back and be regulars ourselves!

I normally order the cowboy roll as it satisfies my palette through texture. Salmon/tuna with avacado and deep fried crispy bits on top. Yum!

This is my families favorite sushi restaurant. The sushi is always fresh and DELICIOUS! Really nice couple that work together there and are always very friendly and great, prompt service. We eat here at least once a week. If I had one suggestion it would be to offer more appetizer options like salad or tuna tataki but all in all my favorite place in Victoria :)
Favorite spot in Victoria. For so many reasons. About 5 tables, never particularly busy. One sushi chef on a mission. Modest and clean, unbelievable food.

Best bang for your dollar for consistent decent Sushi! Great for take-out! Friendly and prompt service! We get some about once a week and have never been disappointed.
This sushi is fabulous, so glad we found it. i do with they had more tempura options, but what's they do have is amazing. We had the Spicy California and the Caterpillar roll. Both amazing.
First time eating here and we will definitely be back. The sashimi was amazing. The combo sushi was also great but the scallop roll was my favorite.
A few things to note about this sushi place: they give you naturally brewed soy sauce which is the best, the ginger they use is not filled with fake sugar ingredients and dyes, and the takeout packaging is biodegradable. They also make your food very quickly! The food was all fresh and tasted delicious! Next time I will order the miso and edamame to complete my meal. Love ordering here :)
Delicious sushi very clearly prepared fresh with excellent ingredients. Beautiful presentation too. Service was very friendly and pleasant, with an intimate atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the high quality. An overall great experience!

My favorites are Tuna Cowboy rolls and a Spicy Scallops Cone (and all other cones).

We had seen many wonderful reviews and heard of the special tempura batter the owner makes, it is amazing! You can hear the effort and time put into the food, and the taste reflects it for sure!
There is the sushi bar to sit at and a couple 4 seat tables as well as a bigger one. You may wait a few more minutes vs other places or grabbing a To-Go box from somewhere, but you won't get this quality or hospitality :)
We were looking for good sushi in Langford and found it! Such good value and amazing sushi. The owner was kind and offered us more ginger and wasabi! Our group of 6 left happy and full 😊

I recently moved to Langford and have been looking for a great sushi place. I found Maiko by accident and I'm so happy I did! The food is fresh and the pricing is great.
Always fresh and well made. Huge bonus that you get great value. This is always my go to for sushi!
Went for lunch. Very cozy place friendly owners. We had the sushi combo and lunch combo A. Sushi was fresh and good portions. Price was very reasonable as well. Would go back for sure.
