My wife and I each had a burrito here for lunch and, while both the chicken and beef were absolutely delicious and the hot sauces were on point, we found the portion sizes to be quite small for the price.
The largest burrito, the El Gordo, was $19+ tax and was only marginally bigger than my wife's regular and it was mostly just extra beans. I couldn't help but feel disappointed despite the great quality and flavour of the food.
That said, the ladies working there were great. They were friendly and efficient and because they were out of beer they provided me with a free San Pellegrino as a consolation prize.
Fun and fast Mexican. I enjoy both locations, and trust them to make it delicious every time!
Love their eco-savvy garbage station also.
Probably one of the few mexican grocery shops and restaurants that exists on the island, and sells decent food and products. My partner and I were pleasantly surprised at the variety of snacks, ingredients, and fresh stock available when we arrived on a weekday evening. It wasn't busy either, and all the prices were reasonable. The highlight of my visit was how kind the owner was - he spoke Spanish and told us about the business and products they had in store. It appears to be a family-run shop. I respect that. The enchiladas I ordered also tasted great, and were served fresh and just cooked.
We never leave this location without a purchase. You should take a look at this La Taquisa location too, for all your Hispanic food cravings!
