This is an excellent place to stop for lunch in Lake Country. We’ve seen the menu go through a few iterations in the past couple of years. It’s currently quite creative and tasty. We like the wines here and love the big patio and view of the vineyards. Definitely worth doing a tasting, then lunch or dinner!
We loved the atmosphere, all the servers there were very kind. We did a wine tasting, and even though they were short staffed, they were very attentive, and made sure we were taken care of. He was very knowledgeable about the wine as well. Wine was amazing, and the food was delicious. Service was quick, and they always made sure we were okay. Definitely will stop in again! Thank you for having us!
Incredible Food and Venue! From our charcuterie appetizer to our entrees, everyone's meal was impeccable and for the first time ever I was able to order Gluten Free Fish & Chips! It did not disappoint; the fish was fresh and the batter incredibly tasty. The wine pairings were on pointe and the live music was an added bonus. Overall a 10/10 experience and would recommend...we will be back! Special shoutout to Kennedy who made us feel so welcome :)
A perfect hidden gem of Okanagan Wineries. I had a great time at O'Rourke's. Beautiful interior and excellent patio space to enjoy a variety of tastings, wonderful views, and delicious food. Menu is straightforward and touches on some classic selections. Fairly priced. Typically, you don't think of great food at a winery, but this kitchen well put together and offered some great eats to pair with. The picture attached is of the pulled pork steam buns. My one critique was attentiveness. There were a few miscues with service but nothing that seriously infringed on the experience. I will be back at O'Rourke's.
A hidden gem that the locals enjoy. Don't rush the wine tasting, each sip is complex and layered. The bistro is incredible and the staff are lovely. The dog friendly patio area is a bonus that I appreciate. Thank you!
Went for a late lunch. Had a delicious platter of cheese, meat, bread, and a house made mustard. Also had a pizza which was wood fired. Springtime so was inside. Nice decor. Update: Went back for anniversary dinner in late June of 2022. Had a flight of red wines and a pasta dish that was incredible. The German dark chocolate dessert was amazing.
My (now) wife and I got married at Peak Cellars on June 17th. We were attracted by the 'micro-wedding' concept and liked the thought of minimizing the usual logistical challenges (arranging food vendors, renting tables/chairs/linens/sound systems etc.) by opting for something more intimate and 'turnkey'. The venue ended up being the perfect choice as there was plenty of room for our 30 guests in the ceremony and pergola (reception) spaces, beautiful views of the lake, and excellent food/wine and customer service.
As we set up for the ceremony/reception, the staff at Peak Cellars went out of their way to ensure that the event was a success. Unfortunately, the rainy weather early in the day delayed the set-up, and ultimately required that the wine and canapé portion of the evening be moved into the wine-making room, which worked well. It was also felt that the reception location itself may need to be changed and the staff was ready to accommodate this; however, ultimately this was not necessary since the weather cleared up.
Monique was able to absorb and assist with lots of our planning details in the days leading up to the event, and was there on the day to ensure everything was on track (even stepping in to puppy-sit our Goldendoodle Maggie who was periodically fussy and confused by all the commotion!).
The fact that Monique and the Peak staff were so willing to help find solutions to create a perfect event and match our vision made for a much less stressful experience, and many of our guests later reflected that they've rarely had so much fun at a wedding.
We highly recommend Peak Cellars for anyone considering a relatively hassle-free, intimate wedding with a top-notch staff at a beautiful venue!
Went for dinner last night and had the Mediterranean chicken pasta and the Mumbai street food style cauliflower as an appetiser. Both so tasty! I love the food here. The service was excellent (as it has been the numerous times I've visited before). Jenna was our server and I'd like to pass on my thanks to her for being such a credit to her team.
The wines are excellent at O'Rourke's and are going from strength to strength. As with many wineries during peak season and the staffing shortages that have hit most establishments post pandemic, things can be very challenging for staff and wait times can sometimes creep up. Even taking that into consideration, this place is absolutely fantastic and I can't recommend it enough!
