This is a very descent sushi restaurant. The variety of the menu is amazing! The food is delicious and well-prepared. I have had Japanese food in many many restaurants all over the world, including in Japan. I must say the food at Sushilab is pretty good and on par with some of the best sushi places I've been to. The ambiance is fitting, relaxed and definitely in keeping with the type of restaurant it is. The price is quite reasonable. This place even offers all-you-can-eat, and that, three days a week!! The only reason I am hesitant in giving 5 stars: the service definitely needs improvement. On "all-you-can-eat" days, it may take a loooooong time before you get your food, and as if that's not bad enough, you frequently get the wrong food (something that somebody else, say two tables away from you, had ordered). Now, in all fairness, I must add that if you get to the place early enough (just after it opens at 1700 h), you won't experience delay and everything will be just fine. Also, in the name of fairness, I must emphasize that the waitresses are friendly and courteous alright; no problem there! Only, I'd say, the place needs some more vigorous system of managing the orders in place especially when it gets really busy. Overall, I'm pleased with this very descent restaurant.... Kind of an "oasis" in the North, .... for sushi lovers anyways! RECOMMEND!
