Hillside

This place is a favorite go-to for homestyle cooking and great service. The prime rib is amazing and they also make great pizza! I have never had a bad experience there and always feel welcome when I go. Great job, service, and food are always consistent. Highly Recommended!

I have been a frequent customer of the Hillside for a few years now. The food is incredible, no matter what I’ve chosen off the menu! Even more incredible to me is the staff and owners! The friends and companions that I have met at the hillside are literally second to none! This place is my “cheers” ! This brings me to a previous review (2 star) from a customer (Kyle) whom has been to this establishment ONCE! (Hopefully never again) ! This fella shows up while his girlfriend is at the dentist next door and plants himself at the bar! I felt uneasy the moment I saw him! Moving on to his poor review! Kyle asked the server with the dirty (but we’ll washed) blonde hair for 2 tomato soups which she bagged and handed to him. He then leaves and walks out to his car to meet his girlfriend. They have a discussion and she seems upset but suddenly locked lips!! ( like In a movie ) quite the site! They finish and come back inside the restaurant and sit directly behind me! A server walks over and asks what they would like and KYLE requests the dirty ( but well shampooed ) blonde server to serve them. The server then asks what she can do for them and he said “ I confused tomato with potato and order the wrong soup , at which point he was told that there was no potato soup ( go figure) ! So he decided that French onion soup was better than nothing! He was also told that because he had the soup outside in his car for the last 20 minutes that there wouldn’t be a refund! No complaints….. YET! Bill comes ……. Well KYLE is unhappy he has to pay for 4 soups. Even though he ate 2 and breathed on 2. He proceeds to call the server names that are incredibly offensive which she took in stride! He was asked to leave if he was not happy but him and his girlfriend continued the barrage of name calling before finally leaving! I’m writing this review because the hillside is a great establishment and everyone whom frequents here knows that! Most customers that come here whether it be for dinner , drinks or a quick hello would attest to this! Keep up the great work and superior customer service hillside ownership and staff!
