While the food deserves a better rating, service drops it down a notch. When we sat down, it took a long time for the staff to get to our table, and when preparing the table with utensils, she just grabbed ones from other tables and moved them over to ours... just odd.
But food is solid. Massaman curry is the way I always go, and with the tom kha (coconut curry) soup
Ordered the curry pad Thai. Extremely fresh ingredients and quick service. Great deal on lunch and dinner specials. Would definitely go back here again.
I liked this places mostly because of ambience. This is thai and vietnamese restaurant. Took coconut shrimp, chicken wanton and chicken fried rice. All the foods were awesome.
I like the food there especialy basil chicken and basil beef.
Had their green curry after a trip to Thailand; the curry I had here and there were about the same (both amazing). Also recommend the sticky rice/mango dessert.
Enjoyed the luncheon special on several occasions. Good value,quality and surroundings. We will return.

Recommend it!. I went to Waterloo to visit a friend and she recommended Red Ginger Modern Thai+Viet for dinner. I ordered the pad thai. I loved it. It was one of the best pad thai I ever had. In addition to the delicious meal, the service was quick. Staff was friendly. I totally recommend it!
Awesome!!! What a great find.... Came in for take out, ordered pad thai, red curry, spicy eggplant and cashew chicken. The food was delicious! The chicken was tender and yummy (no grissle-like many of the other thai places here in KW). The spicy eggplant was perfectly spicy. I can't pick a favourite and will be back to try more from your menu.
Pleasant Surprise in non-descript strip mall. The Red Ginger is truly a find. The food is fresh, well-made and spices taste authentic. I had the Nasi Goreng and really enjoyed it. My daughter (11), my dad (87) and my husband all enjoy this place. Don't be put off by the location -- the inside is clean and bright.
Came here to grab a quick dinner, the server attended to us warmly and we did not feel rushed even if we arrived just 30 minutes before closing.
We ordered pho, red curry with rice and mango sticky rice. While the food is appetizing, it is nothing sort of remarkable. Still not bad for a Thai food fix though.
I visited like regular thai restaurant. But, amazed by the taste of the dishes. Ordered red curry-chicken, and chicken fried rice. The red curry here is too tasty, its a must try. You will thank me later, once you taste the red curry, keep in mind, it’s an addictive. You cant just eat ince and be calm. 😊😋😋
Excellent food, I ordered the crab Rangoon, and a golden curry with rice, and it was so good. I got chicken curry, and it was still juicy and tender when it came to me, and the taste was incredible. The waitress allowed me to order pickled vegetables, which isn’t inherently on the menu, which I felt was very kind of her.
The waitress was kind and chatty and complimented me a bunch, she made me feel welcomed. I even ordered tea when I was done my food so I’d have an excuse to stay longer. I’ll definitely be coming back! ❤️
Nice modernized (or westernized) Thai and Vietnamese food. As a middle eastern who likes international food, particularly Asian, I really liked the House Pad Thai, Bmi Goreng and Crab Rangoon.

Pad Thai lunch special - good value price wise and pad thai itself was very flavourful, however would be elevated with more spice as it is a little on the sweet side (be sure to ask server if you like spicy)!
Khao Soi - star of the meal for me as the broth is addicting. The components of the dish work well together. It came with a generous portion of the meat which was nice and tender. Ask for it to be more spicy!
I had the fried chicken mango with rice & salad.My wife had the ginger stir fry and our friend had pad tie noodle dish.
All were absolutely delicious. Service was excellent.

It's our go to restaurant when we order off UberEats. Love it every single time but the prices are starting to climb so we'll have to taper back a bit. Would also love if there was a Note option in UberEats to specify spice level or accommodate dietary requests, though I get that probably slows down delivery time.
Had the red curry with tofu & mango salad - both were quite yummy. One of the servers was very sweet. Pretty inexpensive.
Red Curry was so good, I recommend the lunch special. Great price for a filling plate of rice, curry, 1 spring roll and a small bowl of hot and sour soup, both of which tasted great. Very friendly and welcoming service, will definitely order again!
Have gone here to eat in a few times for lunch the flavour of their dishes is always phenomenal! Only qualm is if you want something spicy, ask for extra spicy.
Eat-in service is fairly slow especially if you have a large group, but they have very kind and polite staff.
