Annabelle’s Tea Room is all that I imagined it would be to have tea in a quaint English cottage. The decor supports my idea of English prettiness with an abundance of colorful flowers and artifacts. The special care for details extend to the food which is presented with English accents also. For example the British Sampler comes with a miniature Union Jack flag. The cucumbers are curled into rosettes, etc. However the highlight of Annabelle’s is the FOOD. The bread is cooked daily and is light in texture but hearty in taste. The tea sandwiches I had were the best versions of chicken salad and egg salad that I have ever had. The sandwich that stood out for me was the cucumber sandwich. The bread it was enclosed in contained dried cranberries. The cranberries, cream cheese and cucumber combination was amazing pleasing to the palate. The soup and the tea were also very good. I have nothing negative to say about my experience. I only wish it were not necessary to Canada to get it.

This was my first time at Annabelle's Tea Room but it won't be my last! Absolutely wonderful! The "Queen's Tea Service" was delicious with finger sandwiches, soup and an amazing scone with jam and Devon cream. Prices are very good, quick service, and servings are large - you will definitely not leave there hungry! The décor is beautiful. I can't say enough good things about this tea room - but definitely make reservations or you probably won't get a seat.
