Great fish and chips. Authentic pub ambiance with local fauna. Deep fried dills are a must. Nice choice of start beers including local. If you go, have the fish and chips.

Went here on a whim and decided to try the small Halibut Fish & Chips as our server said it was there most popular dish. Have to say that she was right it was delicious and portion size was just enough. If you are a fish and chip lover you won't be disappointed.

Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. My family enjoyed eating at the Pilot House.
(1) The steak and mushroom pie was great
(2) The halibut fish and chips were great
(3) We liked the 'local' and cozy feel to the restaurant; also, decent music and not too loud
(4) The staff was very friendly

I really like fish and chips but it is hard to taste test them frequently because it is quite oily. I've heard from various sources that the Pilot House served the best fish and chips in Kingston so I decided to check it out. It is sort of a dodgy looking
