Recently had the pleasure of dining here when visiting Kingston . I must recommend the Diane burger . It was the absolute best burger I’ve had , anywhere. It was an explosion of flavour with each bite .Go figure , a fish joint with great burgers!! However , it is a smokehouse also . The other two diners in my party each had the fish and chips. Also fantastic. They both agreed it was the best they have ever had. Fantastic batter and equally impressive fries. Homemade slaw and tarter. Dianne’s also had the best buns I’ve ever tried. The butter was like no other. It reminded me of how butter used to taste many a year ago . Anyone over fifty will understand. Completing a truly wonderful experience was the service. We had the privilege of having Calvin as our server. Very attentive ,intelligent, and superb people skills. It was so refreshing to come across someone such as Calvin who truly loves what he does. Cheers to Dianne’s and thank you to Calvin.

We had calamari and fish chowder to start, both were great. I had a Caesar salad with jumbo shrimp and my guy had the jumbo shrimp, fries (came with a serving of coleslaw.) Good portion and very fresh...IE: the seafood...definitely NOT fast food seafood dining. Our table service was fast and our server was pleasant and friendly. I would recommend and will return. PS...the Margarita was one of the best I've had. �
