The entrance of this great restaurant is well hidden on the side of the road. Once you arrived, you will see a great cozy farm house restaurant where the chefs and staff will greet you in person. The ingredients are mostly local sourced and you can tell from the freshness of the food. We had the tuna as the feature main course of the night. We were expecting a great piece of tuna streak and we ended up having something even more exceptional: seared tuna belly. Make sure you make your reservation months in advance as this place is definitely worth driving hours for. We've driven from Oakville over to Kingston just to check it out.

Quite honestly the best meal I've ever had. I had been wanting to go for so long. My only disappointment was that I didn't go before now! I started with the soup which had shrimp and artic char in every bite. I can't wait to go back and try more of those mains. I'm still thinking about the dessert the next morning. I tried almost all of them as everyone at our table ordered a different kind. The staff was perfect, friendly and inviting. I felt like part of the family while I was there

what an amazing experience. We had a party of five including one vegan. The chefs prepared the most wonderful three courses for the vegan. The other four thoroughly enjoyed all their wonderful food as well and the desserts were to die for. Would come here again in a heart beat. Amazing service. Atmosphere and especially the food

I've been remiss about writing a review. Likely one of the better restaurants I've been to. We walked in w/o a reservation, the hostess asked the owner if they could accommodate us. He was candid and explained that he needed the table for 7:30, my wife and I had no problem with just under an hour and a half.
Lovely older farm house place with multiple rooms. Staff was very attentive w/o being overbearing (harder than one thinks) the owner likes his craft and clients. I'm a fair cook and entertain, we had a pleasant conversation about his farm, building the restaurant, local food etc. Made the already beautifully presented appetizers and main taste even better. Served on artisan pottery.
I look forward to eating here again.

The food was excellent, and all the staff were very friendly. From the moment we made the reservation with the level of service on the phone we knew we were in for a treat. When we arrived a bit early, our table was already prepared for us and we were seated right away. After starting with a cocktail, Chef Clark took the time to walk us through the menu and tell us about the origin of the locally sourced ingredients and thoughtfully paired a wine to each course for us. We were blown away by every appetizer, entrée and the desserts. The Creme Caramel blew our minds!
It on the pricier side to be sure, but we'll worth it, and my wife and I both agreed that it was likely the best meal we've ever had in Kingston. Thanks to everyone at the restaurant for a great dining experience.

It is the best restaurant in Kingston....better yet, in Southern Ontario! We had the pan seered salmon topped with deep fried caramelized onions and a sweet potato salad.....amazing! Clark served us dessert, a locally made peach gelato that tasted like you were biting into a fresh peach! The service was out of this world and the dining room has a relaxing atmosphere. Love the music playing in the background! These people know how to make your dining experience memorable! Five stars because that's as high as it goes! *****

It is not everyday that you get to chat with the chefs and that the chefs serve you and treat you like family. It is an intimate setting and a one-of-a-kind experience at Bayview Farm and the chefs know their fine dining. The highlights of my meal was the chicken/pork terrine with cherry chutney, the asparagus and the duck breast in coconut broth. My fiance and I had a lovely meal at Bayview Farm to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. Thank you to the chefs!

Out of all the 5 diamond restaurants we've been to, Bayview Farm Restaurant has far surpassed those. We love savouring the natural flavours of food complimenting each other - nothing competing - except for Steve if course comparing his wagu to Ashanté's fillet mignon! My French onion soup was rich yet simple and not oily - very important to me; and the char accompanied by ginger carrot puree - to die for. And the message of supporting local farmers and artisans.... appreciated!
The artiste Clark is so very welcoming and truly spends time at each table - like family catching up! He even sang Happy Birthday to our daughter. Thank you 😘
We can't wait to return!

Simply put perfect from start to finish. No where else are you treated with a level of respect and attentiveness as at this wonderful establishment. Then there is the food but they had us at hello. From the heaping bread basket of real homemade bread to the choices of mild or mildly spicy luxurious toppings. The appetizer was superb, the main exquisite and desert divine. The wine Clark helped us chose was sublime and the conversation wholesome and friendly. Just happened to be Clark's Birthday and he shared some of his Birthday 1988 Riesling SPÄTLESE with us, wow. We now have a new favorite place in the Kingston area.

My husband and I recently had an amazing evening at Bayview Farm Restaurant. We had heard great things about the place, so our expectations were high...and they were exceeded! We had the leek/onion soup and crispy duck dumplings to start. The soup was amazingly rich and delicious and the dumplings, along with the rhubarb dipping sauce, were so divine! We also each had the beef filet for a main. This was definitely one of the best pieces of meat I have ever had the pleasure of eating! For dessert, we chose the almond spice cake and Belgian chocolate mousse. We loved it all!! Rivalling the food for the most memorable part of the evening was the unique setting and ambience. We were so well taken care of by the chefs and Clark Day even sat down and chatted with us for a good 15 minutes at the end of the evening. We felt like we were hanging out with some good friends in their dining room. It was a fantastic experience and we cannot wait to go back for our next visit.
