The food was amazing, the ambiance was beautiful and the service was perfect 😊 The owner is so kind as well. It was a beautiful experience and I would recommend it to everyone 😊
A very special place. An extraordinary experience. I read reviews in France and was inspired to book a reservation. I've been blessed to have experienced amazing cuisine in Europe. This Canadian haute fusion cuisine is worth raving about. There's nothing like it. Seriously delicious !
The entrance of this great restaurant is well hidden on the side of the road. Once you arrived, you will see a great cozy farm house restaurant where the chefs and staff will greet you in person. The ingredients are mostly local sourced and you can tell from the freshness of the food. We had the tuna as the feature main course of the night. We were expecting a great piece of tuna streak and we ended up having something even more exceptional: seared tuna belly. Make sure you make your reservation months in advance as this place is definitely worth driving hours for. We've driven from Oakville over to Kingston just to check it out.
My fiance and I just enjoyed one of the best dinners we've ever had. Loved the food and the service and friendliness of the staff was beyond compare. Will be going back.
Went here for my birthday dinner and had an absolutely amazing experience! Cozy yet refined dining, food quality and portions being fantastic, with astounsing table service and chef reccomendations. Would recommend for any occasion!
Gourmet food all locally sourced. The pate and the maple caramel dessert were total standouts as were the garam masala duck breast and the scotch mustard seared rack of lamb
Quite honestly the best meal I've ever had. I had been wanting to go for so long. My only disappointment was that I didn't go before now! I started with the soup which had shrimp and artic char in every bite. I can't wait to go back and try more of those mains. I'm still thinking about the dessert the next morning. I tried almost all of them as everyone at our table ordered a different kind. The staff was perfect, friendly and inviting. I felt like part of the family while I was there
what an amazing experience. We had a party of five including one vegan. The chefs prepared the most wonderful three courses for the vegan. The other four thoroughly enjoyed all their wonderful food as well and the desserts were to die for. Would come here again in a heart beat. Amazing service. Atmosphere and especially the food
I've been remiss about writing a review. Likely one of the better restaurants I've been to. We walked in w/o a reservation, the hostess asked the owner if they could accommodate us. He was candid and explained that he needed the table for 7:30, my wife and I had no problem with just under an hour and a half.
Lovely older farm house place with multiple rooms. Staff was very attentive w/o being overbearing (harder than one thinks) the owner likes his craft and clients. I'm a fair cook and entertain, we had a pleasant conversation about his farm, building the restaurant, local food etc. Made the already beautifully presented appetizers and main taste even better. Served on artisan pottery.
I look forward to eating here again.

The food was excellent, and all the staff were very friendly. From the moment we made the reservation with the level of service on the phone we knew we were in for a treat. When we arrived a bit early, our table was already prepared for us and we were seated right away. After starting with a cocktail, Chef Clark took the time to walk us through the menu and tell us about the origin of the locally sourced ingredients and thoughtfully paired a wine to each course for us. We were blown away by every appetizer, entrée and the desserts. The Creme Caramel blew our minds!
It on the pricier side to be sure, but we'll worth it, and my wife and I both agreed that it was likely the best meal we've ever had in Kingston. Thanks to everyone at the restaurant for a great dining experience.
