My husband and I were in Killarney on May 8, 2022. We went to The Sportsmans Bar on the recommendation of an employee at The Killarney Brewing Company because we were looking for a place that might show the Miami Formula 1 race. We had the absolute best time of our two week trip there!!! We were greeted warmly when we walked in and had a seat at the back where the big screen was. The barman, who was spectacular, was happy to put the race on for us to watch - though he was not a fan of F1. He also, throughout the night, brought our drinks to the table for us. At the end of the night he was sure to ask my husband if he was happy when we were leaving. They had a man playing the guitar and singing which was great. We also met the nicest local people. A large group was celebrating the birthdays of two of their family members and they sat at the tables next to us. The men who were seated next to my husband on one side and me on the other started to talk to us. They were the nicest people we met on the trip, which is a tall order because virtually everybody was friendly. We talked all night to them and barely even watched the race. One of the gentleman shows us the most clever trick with a piece of paper and some scissors and then showed us how to do it. We visited lots of bars and great places on our trip, but The Sportsmans Bar was the absolute best. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Great little pub in the center on Killarney- Ireland and the staff were great at helping us out with putting the State of Origin Rugby League game on for us Aussies. Not only a pub but they have accommodation 4xDoubles, 1xFamily Room and 2x Singles rooms that have tea and coffee facilities only.
