Review Harvey's - Keswick

They had alot of staff working behind the counter. In most places the focus is usually on the drive thru orders but at this location the focus was on both. Each staff were busy doing what their job was. The manager kept talking to the staff about the orders coming in and going out. Great communication and a great team. Food was great and fast. I had the hot dog and I have to say it's one of the best hot dogs I've had in a long time.

I would give no stars if I could. But since I can’t, I Ordered a pick up order for dinner tonight and they gave us the wrong persons order. Didn’t realize it till I got home. I sent hubby in with the receipt and a picture of the order so it could get fixed. They “remade” it, but it ended up still being wrong. Missing items and wrong burgers. Definitely not giving them another chance.

I bought large poutine, I just got half of the original quantity. The fries were uncooked and the store was out of gravy but just because the employees don’t want to make new gravy, they just gave me whatever they had, which was very tiny bit. I order almost every week but never had this bad experience. This picture shows only my account order history, my husband’s account has more orders than me. It felt like the employees were not ready at all to provide the service and to work. Worst experience.

I am a georgina resident and myself and my family have been coming to this Harvey's and Swiss Chalet location for as long as I can remember, sometimes twice a week. For the most part our experience with service and the staff is always pleasant and helpful. Does it get slow, busy and have we had a missing or incorrect item over the years? Yes, of course but having worked in the service and food industry I am very understanding to these things in knowing IT HAPPENS and anytime this has been the case it is always rectified with a smile. Working in the service industry is and can be high stress, high paced and tuff. Having said that, I believe in giving credit where due. We visited for lunch on the day Roger's went down and I would like to say it was surprisingly busy. Our food was hot, delicious and service was great considering everything happening in Canada that day. There was a young lady who came around from the back as it was busy and things were slowing in service and this needs to be said; watching her do her job and get the customers served and things moving is truly something to be admired. She took our order, she topped our burgers, made my son's slushy and milkshake, got my fathers swiss chalet, did it with speed and a smile, even went as far to tell us to take a seat and she would bring out our fries and onion ring(which were delicious) and brought out pretty quick. She went more than an extra mile and not just for our family, she was attentive and helpful to all the customers there weather they were dining in, taking it home or in drive thru. She went to all the other staff members and attentively asked them "what they needed" and got all of their orders moving too. She came up from the back and took complete control of a busy situation and was helpful to all. It wasn't just our family who noticed there were a few of us at that point who were collectively discussing the showmanship and leadership she took of a busy situation. A gentleman who had ordered after us did mention that she had worked at your location before and had just recently returned and she had always been on the ball as he put it. His wife was saying that a couple weeks ago she had helped serve their big party in the dining room and was just as wonderful doing Swiss Chalet as Harvey's and she seems to be on both sides. In all, what a wonderful addition to have to a team. Its not often in today's world that you still come across young people with true pride in the service they are providing and it really does make a difference to your dining experience when someone truly cares. As we were leaving we spoke to another staff who told us the girls name as I noticed that you don't have name tags anymore I wanted to make sure when writing this I could address her properly, On behalf of myself and my family We want to say, thank you Trish for making our visit 110% God bless.

Extremely slow drive thru. Only come here if you 30 minutes to waste. Average service speed is 11.5 minutes per car Monday to Saturday since January. Yes I keep track

If you would like to go to a place where they give you what you order, this is not the place for you. There is a 0% chance your order will be prepared correctly. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Love the food, love the environment and nice people that care

The woman - the large tall older woman - taking my order gave me a very creepy feeling , looking me and my friend up and down and literally scowling at us. She was also rude with the order taking. Very strange to have a person like this in direct contact with the customers. Will never go back to this Keswick Harvey’s location. Extremely eerie.
