Got the combo plate with fried rice, chicken balls, sweet n sour shrimp, spring roll, and veggies. Tasty generous portions. A welcome break from eating burgers and sandwiches for the past 2 days of being on the road. There’s actually decent size chicken in the chicken balls. Same with shrimp. Sauce on the side so you don’t have soggy battered shrimp and chicken. Only 4 stars as the dining area is very dated but clean. Service was really good. For what you get in the beautiful small town of Kenora, Yummy Yummy so far is, well, yummy!
The woman who runs this place is soo so lovely.. I have never met someone who's so welcoming and excited to see a stranger. I order a combination plate for pick up and they give enough for two meals. They really give you the full bang for your buck. Also, big plus for me, their chicken balls are for sure white meat and REAL. I hope this restaurant is doing well because they deserve it.
Food is fresh and good. The owners work hard and are open when other places are closed, which we appreciate.
Easily….Hands down the BEST Chinese food in Kenora! Amazing Fresh Quality Ingredients! You get your money’s worth! Yummy Yummy provides more quantity per order than any other Chinese food Restaurant in Kenora…there Buffet is also amazing! Great Prices….Amazing Food! I’ve been going to Yummy Yummy for about 6 years now….always consistent quality and flavour!
We enjoyed the sweet-and-sour pork as well as the chicken noodle dish. We weren't very impressed with the plain fried rice and would recommend trying one of the other ones. Portion sizes were very large.
