Phenomenal selection for groceries. If you're a foodie and love good quality and selection when concerning Japanese food-then you have to check out Komatsu. I've checked around Kelowna and found that they have the best prices in the city for Japanese groceries and specialty items. When I'm looking to pick up a quick lunch I always recommend this market, they have lunch meals already prepared which are fresh and super affordable. It's family owned which I really appreciate.

The best Japanese food I've had in Kelowna. Komatsu is an absolute a hidden gem. The sushi rice was seasoned perfectly and the fish was fresh and expertly prepared. We stop in here almost every time we visit Kelowna.
Really awesome food. Delicious and fresh. The negitoro is outstanding! However, the portions are too small for what you pay for. The beef and chicken donburi is outstanding, but again the meat portion is too little, like comparing it to a kids meal.
Excellent food, relaxed atmosphere and very kind owners. Donburi bowls are delicious. It's a hidden gem! My favourite sushi spot in Kelowna.

First time trying, its close to work. Service was fast, friendly, restaurant was spotless, nice atmosphere for sit-in. Food was delicious, I tried the Miso soup and Chicken Donburi. Very tasty, quite reasonable portions.

This is the best Ramen I have ever had and I've been on a mission to find better, I cannot. The shusi is the best in Kelowna and the spring rolls are just fantastic! The owner and chef, David is absolutely wonderful! The litttle market he has is really neat, it has lots of little Japanese snacks and items. This is hands down my favorite place eat in Kelowna.
amazing experience, best japanese food in kelowna, one of the best we’ve had ever! our server / cook, im assuming maybe the owner as it was only one guy. he was so kind & amazing, most flavourful miso soup i’ve ever had with lots of tofu too! we also got an ebi roll & it was incredible. He gave us a free spicy california roll (i think) for us to try, it was so so tasty, the best i’ve had for sure!! thank you so much! we’ll be back weekly now!
The service was lovely and the presentation of the food was amazing. We came with a larger group. The owner told us upfront that it would be a bit longer since he's a one man show. While waiting, he brought us spring rolls on the house to keep the kids happy. We're so pleased with how our meal went. The prices are also very reasonable.
By far the best Sushi in Kelowna, incredible miso and rice. The Gentleman working was very polite and had very good customer service skills. I will be returning again and again!
