What an amazing Indian restaurant. My first one ever. Great first impression. The atmosphere is nice but the food is just amazing. My favorite dish is the Coconut Curry. It actually has a strong buttery coconut flavor which impressed me. Trying the Naan bread for the first time with cheese and spinach and covering it with sauce was so good.

Not sure why I waited so long to visit here. This restaurant was the second Indian restaurant in Kelowna after its sister restaurant, DaWett. So it has been here twenty years and I finally tried it I enjoyed the butter chicken and saffron rice. Bright, cheerful greeting from the young woman in charge of the dining room. I enjoyed hearing her interact with the other tables around me. I ordered my food at a spice level 2 out of 6 and it was perfect. Generous portions of chicken in a rich sauce, served alongside perfect saffron rice. Chicken was served in a little warming dish with a tea light which just added to the experience and kept my meal nice and warm. Chose the Bombay Sunset as my drink. Will absolutely be back to sample more of this menu.

We are never disappointed when we go to Chutney… friendly staff, generously portioned food, good value for your money.

We spent a wonderful evening at this restaurant. The dishes were superb and well presented with candles to keep the food warm. The waitress we had was more than wonderful sharing about the dishes. So great!!

First time visiting and we decided to go with the platter for two, which was delicious and it gave us a taste of all their different plates and desserts. I will absolutely come again and it has become one of my favourite places in Kelowna!

Outstanding food and value. You could get out of this place with a dinner for two costing 25 bucks. My wife and I almost filled up on appetizers accidentally because we didn't know how large the servings would be. Beware that the naan bread single order is enormous. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Kelowna.

Absolutely fantastic meal. I had the mint and coriander chicken and the vegetable biriyani. I eat at at least 150 restaurants a year, and it is extremely rare that I leave a review. In this case, my meal was exceptional. Both were some of the best meals I have had in years. Stellar.

Highlights from my visit to Chutney on Pandosy Street: • Literally everything about our order was wrong, server had no idea who ordered what and just put everything down in the middle, screwing up several orders, mains, appetizers and drinks repeatedly. • Claimed it was our fault because “she wrote it down” even though she wrote the wrong thing, when I asked for the missing items the server told me to just eat the left-over appetizer that we never ordered instead • The server was obviously sick, sniffling runny nose which she kept wiping on her clothes • Called an “irate” “a$$hole” in front of the whole restaurant because I asked if we could have a different server • Everything we asked seemed like an impossible task (take-away container, water for the table, split billing? Completely absurd requests apparently. Kept muttering about us and rolling her eyes at us) • Manager made no attempts to improve the situation or apologise and didn’t switch servers for us which made the 2nd half our dinner very awkward • Later complained that we didn’t tip very much while some of our group was still paying (a few of our group tipped anyway. Getting called an a$$hole by your server: 0% tip) • Food was nice. I had Shahi Korma and Papdi Chat

My usual spot was closed and stopped in here, first time. The server was amazing and did a great job recommending dishes. Loved the food and service, worth stopping in and can't wait to get back here!

Seven of us went for dinner last night ... we each chose a dish and then shared them all between us - every single thing we ordered was delicious! Our server was so helpful and sweet. Overall a wonderful dining experience :)
