Review Parlour Ice Cream - Kelowna

I loved their selection of ice cream with their home-made waffle cones! You would be doing yourself a disservice if you don’t check out this place when in Kelowna. There are usually lines but I think it’s well worth the wait. The flavours seem to change seasonally but I had the chance to try Blueberry Lemon, Lavender, Cookie Monster, and Earl Grey. My favourite by far was the Blueberry Lemon because it had frozen blueberries embedded in the lemon ice cream. Highly recommend this place to anyone who visits Kelowna!

Really generous servings and waffle cone was really delicious, kind of chewy and crispy at the same time. The ice cream almost has a gelato texture. We ordered the blueberry cheesecake and the whiskey hazelnut and they were both amazing!

If you are an ice cream lover or dessert or whoever/whatever you are, then put this place on your bucket list. The ice cream was delicious! They have so many options for ice cream - My favorite is the cotton candy!

Parlour is the best ice cream I’ve ever had. The advantage of handcrafted ice cream made with local ingredients is unmistakable (and what a double whammy when it comes to supporting local!). With every visit I am shocked by the creamy, smooth texture and rich flavors (not overwhelmingly sweet - they leave the sweetness to the staff, who are all lovely). Parlour has created adult-appreciated quality in reminiscent flavours like Cookie Monster and birthday cake, as well as modern experiences like pistachio, lavender, and whiskey hazelnut. Instead of the usual sorbet for us lactose intolerant and vegan folk, they have coconut & cashew ice cream! And don’t miss the house-made waffle cones, which taste as good as they smell! The portions are very generous, and its location encourages sitting to enjoy the lake view while you indulge! So skip desert, and stop at parlour when you’re downtown for dinner next! It’s a favorite among my whole family.

One of the best ice creams I’ve ever had. So rich in flavour. We tried pistachio and raspberry cream cheese in a Waffle cone & waffle cup. If you’re in Kelowna - do visit. Nice view as well.

We had the most amazing customer service from the team at this ice cream place, followed by very generous portions of the most amazing ice cream! My wife has an (unusual) allergy to corn and the gentleman making the waffle cones went out of his way to check which flavours she could safely eat. The two scoops were extremely generous. The ice cream was absolutely superb. Thank you so much.

I visited this summer during a busy Bernard street market event and was very impressed with both the icecream and the service. It was busy, but the line moved fast and the ice cream was great. I got a vegan option in a waffle cone and multiple staff double checked I was ok with the cone not being vegan and were very friendly even in a rush.

Wandering around downtown Kelowna in August it becomes quickly evident that ice cream is in popular demand. After passing countless people struggling to devour some gigantic cones while smiling ear to ear we knew we had to give it a try. It wasn’t hard to locate Parlour Ice Cream, the line was around the corner! The closer you get the more your senses start to come alive, afterall there is nothing like the smell of freshly made waffle cones. This of course does wonders for the anticipation of the the tasty treat to come. Parlour is obsessed with local ingredients and unique flavour profiles. New and experimental flavours are constantly being added to showcase local ingrediants. What did we have? Salted Caramel “House made caramel and sea salt. “ This decadent smooth and creamy ice cream was like luxury in a cone. We tend to taste anything Salted and Caramel flavoured and this was amazing. Big fans! Whisky Hazelnut “Okanagan Spirits Whisky, Gellatly Nut Farm Hazelnuts” I really enjoyed this favour. I went back and forth because I was worried would just taste like a boozy nutella but it didn’t. It was smooth, light, maybe a little smokey but in a very subtle way. The ice cream was rich but not too heavy. A delicious creation and I am glad I tasted. While a whisky tasting the next day at the Okanagan Spirits tasting room a few doors up we found out they supply the whisky. That is local! If you are in Kelowna and looking for a tasty cold treat Parlour is the place. Don’t let the lineups discourage you. We got through in half the time we expected. They are fast, efficient and server up delicious handcrafted ice cream.

First off, I wanted to say that Omar was a nice and genuine individual to chat with. In fact, Omar and his team were all very pleasant! In my recent visit to Kelowna, I tried some of their flavors and really enjoyed their ice cream. Made with BC Dairy, served with fresh made cones. Perfection. I ended up bringing 6 pints home with me to share with my friends and family in Vancouver, and everyone who had a bite enjoyed it thoroughly. Omar was kind enough to also arrange to have these 6 pints blast frozen to ensure it lasted the drive back! Whiskey hazelnut Cookie Monster Lavender London fog Blueberry cheesecake White chocolate macadamia nut (my favorite out of the bunch!)

Best Ice Cream place in Canada … our family never fail to visit this place whenever we’re at Kelowna. Just wish they have a branch in Vancouver area :-) If you’re from out of town, have your order blast frozen one day before you pick it up so it will last on your drive home. Omar is great and very helpful!

Wow! This ice cream was AWESOME! So pleased with the variety and all the flavours available! They even had dairy free options in strawberry, salted caramel and butterscotch pecan I think. They had different bases for the dairy free (coconut and cashew) which was so nice! No weird aftertaste or texture on the dairy free ice cream. They make the waffle cones right there in front of you so you know it’s fresh! Beautiful spot right by the water, near a park and walking path and around the corner from the fountain. Great spot you definitely need to try this out!

One of the best ice cream spots ever. I tried pistachio and roasted coconut ice creams, both were so delicious. If someone is visiting Kelowna they must taste this ice cream. The scoops are massive and price is reasonable. My experience here was outstanding. Thanks Omar to you all the hard work for brining the great taste to the community.

This is one of the best ice cream shops I have ever been to! They have big scoops, great selection of flavours, and freshly made waffle cones. Every flavour we tried so far have been tasty but a very special one for me as a Middle Eastern is Saffron Rose! It is a classic ice cream flavour we love and grow up with and I hadn’t seen it anywhere else in Canada! The taste took me back to my childhood and I loved it! Totally recommended!

Nice place, good location. Their vegan ice cream was ok. Their salted caramel flavour was great, though they need to stock up more on their popular flavours, their mud pie was sold out on two visits. The lavender one ,,, not so good,,,, cookies and cream was a good one. In general a nice place, and they have an outdoor seating area.

Phenomenal ice cream and service! Seriously doesn’t get any better than this, I highly recommend the caramel apple cheesecake. All kinds of yum at this place!

This homemade ice cream made with locally sourced ingredients is amazing! I highly recommend it. I tried the coffee and and also the chocolate. I'm still thinking about it! Also sampled the salted caramel which was very good! You won't be disappointed! Great service and friendly staff.

My littles and I stopped in at Parlour today !Omar was absolutely a delight in helping us with our flavour selection and educating us that he personally makes the ice cream !!! The chocolate peanut butter was absolutely to die for!!! I highly suggest!

Hands down best Ice cream I've had! I had the peanut butter and chocolate it was delicious, just need to perfect getting the tip of the waffle cone sealed.

Memories of #France were brought back with their delicious #lavender ice-cream. The waffle cone was fresh as well (made on location as is all the ice-cream). Skip the other ice-cream spots in #Kelowna and experience what real, homemade ice-cream should and does taste like!
