Phenomenal sandwiches stacked with good ingredients. You'll pay 15 bucks but it won't be some weak sandwich with one piece of turkey and one tomato.

Went in to get a coffee before heading back to Vancouver but by looking at the pastry couldn't resist, so convinced my wife to try them. Got strawberry tart, cannoli and chocolate mousse bomb. Tarts aren't among my favorite pastries but since was my wife's choice, tried it. It was delicious, not too sweet with hardy crust. Cannoli was delicious as with hard crunchy shell. And the best was chocolate mousse bomb, it was exactly what I expected of it, mouth watering chocolate with smooth melt in your mouth inside. My only beef would be the hot chocolate which I asked if they do have dark one (with no cream) which the girl told me they do but it lacked the bitter taste of dark one (didn't bring it up since the pastries were so good).

I recently visited The Bread Co. in downtown Bernard, Kelowna B.C. and was immediately impressed by the inviting aroma of fresh bread upon entering the establishment. The interior design features beautifully handcrafted chalkboard menus, dark woodgrain flooring, and white tile contrasted by a raised grey ceiling with exposed ventilation, and an attractive wall adorned with wood panels and a grass sign that reads "eat" in elegant script. The black and white pictures of the original owners and their migration story from Holland to Kelowna add a charming personal touch to the decor. I couldn't resist trying some of the bread and breakfast dishes offered. The Bread Co. has been in the family for three generations, and some of their recipes have been passed down from relatives in Holland, which made me excited to taste their offerings. While the coffee was familiar and sourced from a local company named Cherry Hill, I was impressed by the variety of dishes available. After contemplating between the huevos rancheros and their famous eggs Benedict, I decided to try their new breakfast item, the Eggs Florentine croissantwich. The dish featured two beautifully poached eggs, spinach, and hollandaise sauce on a butter croissant. Upon taking my first bite, I was immediately impressed by the texture and flavor of the butter croissant, showcasing their expertise in bread making. The hollandaise sauce was perfectly buttery, while the spinach and poached eggs added a refreshing and lightly seasoned flavor. This dish was filling without being overwhelming, making it a perfect breakfast option that leaves you feeling fulfilled. Overall, I highly recommend The Bread Co. for anyone visiting Kelowna B.C. Its unique and personalized decor, combined with their exceptional bread and breakfast dishes, make it a gem in the downtown core that's worth visiting.

I was introduced to this establishment on this visit to Kelowna. Typically I've been taken to Bliss, a similar establishment in many respects offering coffee, pastries etc.. I will say that I much preferred Bread Co. I found their prices more reasonable and frankly, the quality much better, one example to compare is their sausage roll. Bliss use a hot dog (they refer to it as a lean beef sausage, c'mon people, it's a hot dog) and surround it with way to much pastry. They call it a sausage wrap and charge $6.95. Bread Co make their own sausage roll and charge under $3.00. From here on in when visiting relatives in Kelowna, I will return to Bread Co. Lastly, the staff were excellent.

I called ahead to order take out. The sandwich was amazing and the soup was very delicious. The only thing is the wait time for your food. I still had to wait 20’mins for the food even I called ahead.

We came here around lunch time and it was crazy busy. Waited around 45 min to and hour to order and get our food but it was worth the wait. Kelownafornia Wrap and Grilled Cheese were pretty good but nothing special. The desserts here were unreal! We had the Strawberry cheesecake & Banana Cream Almond Tart. Will be coming back to try all the desserts here!!

I really like this place. It's busy because it's good. I love the smell of their fresh baked bread and goodies. They have lots of great breakfast and lunch options. There's this delicious breakfast sandwich called the chefs special that I have enjoyed with beacon on quite a few occasions. They also do fresh squeezed OJ and have good espresso beverages. The setting is great with views of Bernard Ave and downtown Kelowna.

The bread cherry pumpkin seed lactose-free loaf is a delightful alternative that satisfies both taste and dietary restrictions. With its rich blend of flavors, each bite is a heavenly combination of sweet cherries and nutty pumpkin seeds. The bread's soft texture and moist crumb make it a joy to devour. What sets it apart is its lactose-free composition, allowing those with lactose intolerance to indulge without worry. Whether enjoyed as toast with a spread or used as a base for sandwiches, this bread offers a delectable treat for anyone seeking a wholesome, allergen-friendly option.

Erin is very friendly and has a great sense of humour. I definitely recommend the lemon curd and the many other treats that are offered here. They serve both hot and cold beverages to satisfy every tastebud possible. Their bread is freshly made and leaves the place with a beautiful, mouth-watering aroma. The music is relaxing yet tends to bring back good memories.

What a nice place for a light or a full breakfast - I had the stuffed french toast which had cream cheese sandwiched between two slices of rich - I believe sour dough - bread with a berry compote and maple syrup. The coffee was very good and the fresh squeezed orange juice was fantastic.

Amazing food, great and thoughtful service. I had the Italian sausage frittata and it was delicious! Also got some sweets from the bakery to try that I’m sure will be just as good. Will be back for sure!

This Cafe is a must try when you are visiting Kelowna. It was my first time visiting them and everything was incredible!!! They are super busy and once you eat there, you would understand why!! They not only have ample of latte flavours ( Pumpkin in summer, love that), but the show stopper was their Iced Matcha with Oat milk. The foood is very filling and delicious. I would definitely visit back. They do have 11:00 am cut off on weekdays for Breakfast so make sure you are good timing vise when you visit! Happy visiting! :)

Good price for tasty goodies! The classic benedict was good but there were some potatoes over cooked like almost burnt. I loved the jalapeño sausage roll which I forgot to take a picture since it was too delicious that I ate all and then realized hahaha. Also, the passion fruit lemonade was great.

Ordered the Kelownifornia wrap but as a sandwich on gluten-free bread and it was AMAZING. I’m pretty sure this was the best sandwich I’ve ever had. Would go back in a heartbeat!
