Another treasure at Kamouraska. Make sure you reserve a table because the place fills up very fast. The food is amazing and fresh from the locals. You won’t regret stopping there as you will enjoy the beautiful view of the St-Lawrence River and good gastronomy.
This gem is located in a beautiful city with lots of art galleries. The scenery from the patio is breathtaking. Try to go there around sunset.
The menu is great and the staff are super friendly.
I asked the cashier about the jam on my dish. She went to the kitchen and came back with a jar of the jam.
My review is based on the coffee only.
I would have given the coffee itself 3 stars because it wasn’t really good.
Boiling hot... tasting like water.
But the ambiance and views are hard to beat so they get an extra star.
The food menu looked very good.
And, all tables were reserved for the evening so the food must be good.
So if you are going for food yes.
Check this place out.
But go elsewhere for a good coffee.
Great place by the water with outdoor and indoor seating. The back patio has a reduced menu but everything is delicious.
The boutique inside this place has a wonderful selection of Quebec designer goods -- very nicely curated. Although we didn't stop at the restaurant, we took a look at the patio -- lovely.
Simple short menu of innovative dishes made from locally sourced ingredients that are expertly prepared. Your choice of beautiful bar/dining room in a historical building or outdoor terrace with a stunning view of the St Lawrence river and Kamouraska islands. Top it off with the warm and friendly hosts Kim and Perle! A must stop if you are in the area.
Beautiful outdoor and indoor seating. The food was delicious with a twist of local elements. Also, local beers and ciders offered.
Outstanding service and superb view and atmosphere! We were here for lunch, taking a small detour from Hwy 20 on our way to Montreal. The menu was small and as it was just after the lunch rush some items were already sold out. But what they had left was delicious! From the moment we entered until we left, we were made to feel like very welcome guests and absolutely we will return!
