We had a nice time in the wine tasting room, it's quiet. We have been twice now, very similar both times. Truly minimal interaction with the server, which might be what you are looking for. 1 flight, 4 wines. As others have said, there isn't much explanation about the wines, so I wouldn't expect that from your visit. My husband likes their white, so we will return.
I really enjoyed the winery tasting room. My wife and I visited on June 4th around 2:00pm. It was quiet inside and we were seated at the bar. You can select a sampling of 4 wines for $20.
Our server was very nice and gave us a nice balance of attention and time to just enjoy the wine.
Both Rieslings and the Gewürztraminer were great is you like whites.
The estate Cabernet franc and the La Penna are great reds.
We went home with 8 bottles.
We will definitely be back.
Lovely setting, the whites where really good! Loved the Riesling. The staff where wonderful and knowledgeable.
Tasting room was perfect. Not busy and got one-on-one attention with a staff member. 4 tastings for $20 and wonderful wine. Tons available for purchase. This is by far my favourite wine in Niagara!

Great experience at the Cave Spring Winery tasting room! Beautiful place and the wines were fantastic. Their Gewurztraminer Estate and Gamay are among our favourites. We were hosted by Laura and Leigh who were both wonderful and welcoming, many thanks.
I did a virtual event with Wine Journeys in Barrie last night that featured Cave Spring wines. Gabriel Demarco, winemaker at Cave Spring, was a guest at the event. It was a joy to hear Gabriel describe the wines and the region where they grow. It is obvious that he loves what he does. The wine was delicious and Gabriel’s explanation of why the wines paired well with each course really added to the enjoyment of the food and the wine. Thank you!
Tasting overlooking the vineyard is fantastic. They gave an excellent selection of wines by the glass or in a tasting flight. The new 200 ml four packs are cool.
If you're there you have to try the Rose estate. Third release and each year just gets better
