Bell Bay is a well designed course that deserves some more recognition than it receives. However that is also what makes it special. It is under rated. The course is now starting to see the benefits of regular maintenance work that was seemingly neglected for a few years. The fairways and greens were in excellent shape as of mid-August. While the status of a more permanent club house remains up in the air, the one on site serves the purpose! Find the time to play this course!!

Nice layout and well maintained. Only negative was the greens are quite a bit slower than what I'm used to so had trouble with them. Staff was very friendly.
Fun times! Excellent conditions and some very memorable “postcard” holes, especially on the back 9. Rental clubs (Cobras) were also in very good condition and top notch. We hope to come back and play this course again sometime soon!
Our group had an awesome time at Bell Bay on July 1st, 2022! We will certainly be returning to Cape Breton in the near future. Highly recommend this course to anyone looking for a fun, well-maintained course to enjoy!
Visited Nova Scotia and played a coupla rounds at Bell Bay, Allen and the team at the pro shop made me feel like I was right at home. Great weather, beautiful greenery and bay views, couldn’t have asked for a better 3 days! Looking forward to returning some day

I was able to play Bell Bay early this season and was really happy with the overall experience. The course was very wet as we played after a large rain event, but the greens were true and a great pace. Overall course conditioning was great. Kudos to Allen, Ferris, Thomas, and the rest of the staff who were all super friendly, as always. Will be back soon!

We were walking and for the price we paid I would expect more indications! There are some short cuts, I agree but when you don't it and we you dont know where the next tee off is!....
Also, I think my english is good enough, but when you get to pay the double of what was told on the phone!😖
One of the must play courses on the Island! Greeted by friendly staff upon arrival. Course was in amazing shape. Greens are pure. Can't wait to get back.
