We went for the dinner buffet on a Sunday. The food was fresh and tasty. Basic buffet ingredients that you find in (mostly) every locally owned Chinese food place in Canada. We would not hesitate to go again. It was busy, bustling, the servers were short with their answers but efficient. Try it!
We ordered wonton soup, dumplings, Shanghai style noodles, ginger chicken, egg foo young, and steamed rice. Everything seemed to be homemade. My favorites were the dumplings and the egg foo young. The dumplings were crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. They also didn't have too much or too little dough and filling. The egg foo young was nothing like I had before. It came out on a plate divided into quarters and was real thick. It had Alot of taste and you almost didn't need to put any gravy on it. The service was excellent but it was mid afternoon and we were the only ones in the restaurant.
Very good smorgasbord (especially the noodles!!) and reasonably priced - friendly server. although its called 'oriental palace' the architecture by no means resembles a palace - haha
I would totally recommend this place if you have a hankering for Chinese but not if you want to live in a palace
