You MUST stop here! We stopped in after arriving in the area a little bit later at night after a long day of travel. The lobster rolls were AMAZING and we got a side order of fries which were also SO good; not greasy at all and super fresh. Definitely recommend!!

Home prepared food. The Lobster rolls are fantastic. The Poutine so very tasty. The seafood platter extraordinary! You cannot go wrong eating here. And if the power goes off, don't worry. All the cooking is done using propane!!
Service is friendly and welcoming! We are coming back next year.

Make sure you visit them, 4-10 pm everyday. Zingers, seafoods, lobster/crab sandwich. Cash only tax & deposit included. I would say, even if they open in Montreal they are also one of the best!

Great friendly people run the place. We arrived at Ingonish late at night and it was pouring. Brookside Takeout was one of very few places open if none!
You order and wait for your food a little bit to be prepared and it is worth the wait! We ordered Cheese burger, fish burger, grilled chicken wraps and chicken wings and we all enjoyed our food and no one complains. It was a great experience and I do recommend Brookside Takeout..
P.s. THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH PAYMENT so be prepared.

Thank you for saving us!! Nothing was opened nearby for hours so we stopped by this place and omg, their fish & chips was delish!!! Very friendly service as a bonus. Thank you guys! :)
