Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay is the staff.
The person at the front desk is helpful and generous with their time and advice. We travelled with 2 dogs and this was one of the nicest places we stayed in.
We stayed in room 6, which had a nice wall mural 50 inch TV, sportnet , a coffee machine , a fridge and a microwave. Very comfortable!
stopped here on my way back to BC due to the snowstorm. the staff was very friendly. the room was cozy upon arrival. the beds were clean which i was very happy about it. the bathroom had a lot of amenities which was great to find. rates were also very reasonable. overall, very good stay. i was pleased with this little place
I booked a room here online and once i arrived, the lady at the desk was very helpful and kind. my room and bathroom were both very clean. I was pleased with the comfortable bed. One of few that have not hurt my back! I had some trouble with the TV but i got help from the front desk quick and was able to watch the game in time. Recommending this motel to all my family and friends.
Awesome for everything. Extras like Razer, shaving cream, tooth paste and more. Best price and awesome wall art in main wall in room. Also kid super hero life like stuff. Great price also. We stayed 1 time but were to late to stay coming back. Totally would too. Will stay there 2 more times in up coming trip.
The owner was very kind and genuinely seemed to care about the place. It wasn't a high scale place but the price was excellent and the place was clean. They even took care to fill out my firm for me because my hand is broken, I've been staying in motels all week and everybody else has just watched me struggle. The murals on the wall were pretty cool, he told me they were all different. Pet friendly (had no issue with my 90 lb furry beast.) Would definitely stay here again! Only reason I won't give it a five star is because I wouldn't want to scare away budget travelers.
I stayed in room fourteen which is the non smoking, pet friendly room. my friend, his dog and I took it for one night and it was honestly one of the best pet friendly rooms I've ever been in. It was clean, it had the essentials and we had a great stay. We ate at the motels restaurant and the food was really good. I enjoyed the chicken shawarma very much. It's a rare find up in the north. a definite recommend.
Decent little family run motel. Owner is friendly. Room was clean. Appliances in our room, like fridge and A/C, were basic but worked well enough. The comic book heroes and painted murals add nice character to the place.
First things first. The staff were both super friendly and accommodating. Late check-in (1am) without issue. The rooms may be dated as far as decor but the Wi-Fi was fast and the beds were clean. A coffee maker was included in the room, the TV was huge and the ports (HDMI) were accessible. There was even the option for a smoking room which is unheard these days, huge plus for those smokers trying to stay out of the elements.
Will absolutely stay again when passing through!
For anyone either on a budget or looking for a no frills place to catch some zzz's, this place is fantastic.
Hidden Gem in the middle of no where. The interior is a bit outdated but the check in staff are friendly and the room was CLEAN!!! And clearly and obviously regularly cleaned. Great place to stop for a rest from the TransCanada hwy. and thé mural in my room was quirky and beautiful.
this is the second time I stayed here. Like last time, room is very clean. Customer service was excellent. Big screen TV, satellite etc. The lady at the front desk remembered me too! Will definitely come back again.
