Spent our 5th Mother's Day at the shoreclub yesterday. They do not disappoint! Our group of seven, from age 4 to 70 always look forward to this day. Lobster was delicious and the mussels were huge and tender. Their lovely staff are always fantastic!

Great service, great food, great company. How come I didn't know about this place before? It's been here for 81 years. Wow.
At 54 was my first time going to the Shore Club for the lobster dinner I had the steak and it was absolutely delicious they offer you a lots of salads I'm picky but I really like their coleslaw and their Caesar pasta. The desserts ranged from chocolate cake to a blueberry dessert and lemon strudel. I had the strudel it was delicious
My family really enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant last week! The servers were very attentive. The mussels were very fresh. The potatoes on the steak plate were seasoned very well. That lemon cake was to die for. Only complaint is that the kid’s mac and cheese was KD.
We had a 1 lb. lobster supper here and it was very good. You get 1 lb. of mussels, 3 different salads, rolls, lobster and dessert. Everything was very good and the service was as well. For the price you can't beat it.
Great old school lobster supper with traditional fixings. Love the fireplace and the entire vibe of the building really. Definitely worth the short drive from Halifax.
Great experience, we came here to try some local lobster and it didn’t disappoint. The mussels were tasty as well and service overall was quite quick. I wish the butter dishes were wider and there was more butter and definitely need more napkins. The salad was alright nothing too special tho. Felt a bit family back yard style and the restaurant has clearly been here for many decades. Worth checking out if your in town and looking for a local experience.
Great tasting lobster, with mussels and all you can eat salad buffet, dessert and coffee/tea. What more do you need?
Beautiful establishment and big reason for that is the staff. Very welcoming space for anyone including families.
My review is for a quiet Sunday night. I feel this place on a Saturday when there is dancing going on is absolutely the place to be in Hubbard's. The atmosphere is fantastic. The restaurant turns into a dance floor when needed. Long bench seating comfortably sits large parties. Staff was quite friendly. They took the kids back to the lobster tank to take pictures with the lobsters. Complimentary tea and water self-serve. We were even lucky enough to get live entertainment which I would highly recommend if you know it is going to be there.
I was part of a large party and sampled many dishes. The chicken cordon bleu was unfortunately hard as a rock. One of my kids ordered mac n cheese, and it had a strange cardboard taste. The lobster, although delicious, was priced much higher than what I would expect (about 25% more than middle of nowhere America even after a currency conversion).
So why still four stars? Well, who comes to a place like this for chicken or mac n cheese? You are really coming for the lobster. I am sure they have their reasons for prices being what they are. If you are willing to pay a bit more for an enjoyable dinner with a laid back atmosphere, then check out the Shore Club.
