Well I've tried the pizza in Hinton now and I think I'm going to have to go with gus pizza for the title. Not that both L and W and Milo's weren't great too... but this was some good za, great surprise.
We always want Gus' for latenight snacks in Hinton! Food is always fresh and hot, and delivery is pretty quick. Favorite dishes include the caesar salad and the chicken finger house meal.
My gf and I tried Gus's last night after a long drive to Hinton. The food quality was exactly what I expected from a small pizza joint in Hinton. Not bad at all when you're starving and coming off of a long drive, but nothing I would crave another time either.
Absolutely love Gus' Pizza and always have!!! I've grown up here in Hinton and this is the first place on the list to order from always. Their Greek Pizza, which I always add Pineapple to, is mouth watering and I love their Greek Salad. Please try them out, your tummy will thank you 😊

Delicious pizza! I follow the recommendations of the others here and went there. True, it is a little detour, but the pizza is really worth it. The dough was delicious, thin yet not crunchy, flavourful yet not oily, everything is perfect about it.
As for the toppings, it was LOADED. We had the Gus Special, the different toppings just work so well together. Highly recommend!
We also had a greek salad to share on the table (you know, to feel a little healthier), it was equally delicious, if it had not lettuce in it, my rating would be 5 for sure!
We were passing through Hinton and decided on Gus' for dinner. It's off the beaten path with this small family restaurant.
We had our standard pizza fare of ham, pineapple, onion, and garlic. As garlic is not a standard topping, they said they could slice some on.
The amount of garlic on thus gastronomic delight is massive. Here is a photo of many large chunks that we found on each slice.

Reallllllly good pizza just off hwy 2. Pepperoni, mushroom and green pepper. Thick stringy cheese and a crust which I liked (usually not a crust fan). The sauce was tangy, sweet, garlicky, zesty and delicious. People watching is awesome...locals who hang out and make hockey game predictions and help themselves to coffee in the kitchen. A couple of men speaking Spanish and having wine with their meal. The baba of the house sleeping on her arms from time to time. Typical small town joint decor with lots of team pics. Love this place.

One word: Deadly. Some of the best pizza I have ever had, and I have had a lot of great pizza experiences. The pie was done in 20 minutes, hot to the touch right back to the hotel room! And was un-describeable except delicious! A must stop on the way to anywhere!
Gus has been a staple of Hinton for 47 years. He treated my wife and I with the utmost respect. And the pizza here is unmatched. North face jasper has lost the crown. Gus special is tops. Tell Him we sent ya.
I would give more than five stars if I could!
We just had the dinner there, LOVED it! The food was great, big portions, and the pizza was very tasty, literally loaded with meat (we ordered Meat Lovers).
The owner, Gus, came and talked to us by the end. It was very impressive as it’s not usual when you go to a restaurant to talk to the owner! Thank you Gus!

Came to Hinton for business trip, ordered XL Gus special pizza and dry ribs. My mind was blowing. This is a family restaurant. The food is so delicious, I wish I came here sooner so I can try every dish from this restaurant!

This place deserves more like 100⭐ rating! Been eating here since 1989 and have YET to to even find a pizza close to how amazing Gus' is!!!! Delivery is always hot, fast, and friendly! Prices may seem a little more but the quality and how filling one piece is makes is worth the cost!
Love Gus’!! The only complaint I have is that the dry ribs have definitely gone downhill over the years. They use to be my favourite, now they are just too grisly for me. Which makes me sad because they were so freaking good! Besides that the food is good and pricing is on par! Plus they’re always open late (unlike every other place in this town) so that’s an extra star for sure!
