Took me 25 years to figure out this is the place to buy pastrami. There used to be a sports card store on the corner, as a child I'd come here with my parents and grandparents on one of our rare trips to Hamilton. Thank you for still being here. My family will see you again soon.

The owners are so warm and welcoming, super friendly. Ordered a “medium” pastrami and Montreal smoked meat and the portions are very generous! Served in the classic style with a smear of mustard on rye bread. The store doubles as a small Kosher grocery and has that old school nostalgic feel. D

Very friendly and quaint shop. The coleslaw was very nice, fresh and flavoured well. The Corned Beef was microwaved and was ok but not memorable.

What a beautiful diamond! Been there for 50 years, managed by the currect owners for 35. Today was my first visit. Had a corned beef on rye and a big juicy kosher pickle. Simlly amazing. If you get a chance to stop by, please support this wonderful local business!!!

Small deli and restaurant attended by the owners themselves. Great service and reasonable prices. Quality is above anything you may have tried.

Very stale bun. Could not eat. No cheese.....hardly any mustard....

I've been meaning to stop in this spot... and I was coming up empty everywhere else on my search for Diamond Crystal Salt... it would seem I just picked up the last box of Diamond Crystal anywhere in Hamilton and it was at Westdale Delicatesen. 5* for that alone... plus a very nice lady who I think
