Rebel’s Rock is my favourite place to go when my dad and I get lunch together. The service is great, the owners are friendly and kind, and you’ll always find something new each time you look at the pub’s walls! The food pictured is the ultimate mess (like a poutine), which is smothered in cheese and delicious pulled pork. The other is my dads favourite, the magic meatloaf special! This has become our home away from home! Friendly atmosphere, great pints and spirits and fresh, home made, gluten free, made to order cooking every time. Our personal favourites from the menu are the Irish Dressed Chips, Chicken Wings in any of their sauces, Shepards Pie or their Battered Fish and Chips. Doesn't matter if you are stopping by for a quick lunch or planning to spend the day relaxing with friends for social drinking, this is the place to pass the time and enjoy wonderful hospitality. Easy access on main road, free parking, family friendly, pet friendly, wheelchair accessible, short distance from downtown nightlife if you fancy making it a late night after closing and lovely private patio to enjoy the summer afternoons in the sun or shade. Very impressive first visit to this well reviewed pub.
What struck me most was how everything tasted like it was made from scratch.
Very good quality fish and not too much batter.
The coleslaw was amazing and the tartar sauce was clearly homemade which is such a relief since everyone only seems to use F-ing Heinz which is over salted and over sugared.
Will definitely go back to explore their menu further
Kate and Troy are awesome hosts, and I always feel comfortable at RR. The food is always prepared to perfection and delicious. The BBQ curry wing sauce is the best wing sauce I have ever had. This pub is an absolute gem.
Food is amazing, no matter what you get. Huge portions, I often share a meal with a friend and am still stuffed. The service is exactly what you'd hope for at an Irish pub- fun and efficient! I always enjoy going here.
We have drove by and so many time thought "someday we should stop there" today was that day, we took my parents for lunch and it was one of the most amazing meals I've eaten! The owners are so very friendly. This is a MUST to try if your looking for a good meal!!! We'll definitely be visiting more often!!
