Great coffee, great service, carrot cake so delicious!!! Also the yogurt with nut assortment and fresh fruit....so awesome!!!

Amazing brunch today! As a vegetarian, I find brunch to be difficult. Not here! So many options! The avo toast and falafel hash was delicious! And the staff were lovely!
Best pastry I’ve had in a long time. I got the hand pie with mushroom and potato, and it was so delicious. The cold brew did not disappoint either. I will definitely be back!
Stopped in here three weeks ago on a whim with my husband. The shop is small, but very cute and eclectic. Everyone we interacted with was super kind and talkative.
We decided to stay for a quick breakfast and were treated to the most gorgeously presented and tasting food we'd had in a while. The cappucinos both of us got were flavourful and expertly crafted. We didn't have super high expectations of the food - we thought it'd be quick breakfast food. But it was plated like we were in a 5 star restaurant.
Kudos to the owners for creating such a trendy, beautiful space with great coffee and food.
This place came up on my suggested and I'm extremely happy it did. I have been eagerly looking for a place that serves a breakfast sandwich with smashed avocado. The staff and environment is very welcoming, the portions are great, the price is fair & the food is very flavourful. I've never heard of falafel hash but it was amazing, they also have a wide variety of hot drinks which is great. Will definitely be coming here more frequently!

They made a mean fruit loop laté too!

I have been looking forward to writing this review since I first visited this spot a couple months ago. We came here to try out a local cafe for brunch that was new to us and we ended up having an absolutely lovely experience with incredible food - it's a charming, cozy little spot that brings you into a distinct atmosphere right when you walk in. The staff provided great customer service but most notably were also very genuine, personable, and friendly. They were attentive, upbeat, and happy to answer all our questions about the menu and different options. We ordered the "eggs on toast simple" with the house beans and falafel hash - every part of this was mouth-wateringly delicious! The eggs tasted fresh and were cooked as requested, the salad was flavourful and distinctive, the sourdough was fluffy and tasted amazing, the pickled beet was super tasty, and the house chutney was incredible!!! Not to mention the beans and falafel hash which we devoured and would have gladly bought take-away containers of to bring home if possible. I also ordered a latte that was fruit loop cereal milk themed! It was absolutely delicious and not too sweet. We can't wait to come back here soon and have been telling everyone about this cute place and their great vibe and food! Check them out!
I was so happy to find a brunch place that was open before 11! Absolutely delicious brunch, a menu I want to come back and try again and again. Loved the grilled avocado, a level up from smashed. Great service, warm atmosphere. Will definitely recommend to friends!
I came to Salty Espresso for brunch recently, I had the BLT with Salsa Verde, it was delicious, the best part was honestly the crusts of the bread with the little bit of salsa that had spilled out of the sandwich. It was toasted perfectly and the eggs were cooked well but not perfectly however I can let that slide because the dish as a whole was terrific.
I tried their Iced Coffee and its extremely smooth, its a bit more bitter than comparable iced coffees, however it's not bitter enough to require any sugar which is what I look for in a great iced coffee.
The building is really nice as well, it just feels homey, it feels welcoming and it made me want to come back to experience what else they have to offer. The location in Hamilton is also really good, close to a lot of other businesses so you could definitely make a day out of coming to Salty Espresso for Brunch, etc.
I've been here more times now that it's been Salty Espresso. I got to say it's one the best flat whites I've had and my wife had the Aussie Cap which she loved. The cafe itself is amazing, it has a great feel to it. And the staff were very inviting, they greeted us on the way in and out. Any place that serves Froot Loops you know it has to be good. Can't wait to go back.
