While driving across the country/continent from California to Nova Scotia, I had a mechanical issue. I needed to spend the night near the Porsche dealership. A five minute walk from the motel was this pizza place. It was late and I walked over and had a pizza and salad (and coke).
The owner(?) was cool and we chatted a bit. Then another employee walk in and we chatted for awhile. It was a pleasant evening with good pizza and...... chat.
I ate leftovers the next day.

Their sandwiches and pita wraps are delicious. They do bake their poutines so just a heads up if that's not your thing.

I love this place...every time we are in Halifax we make it a point to go there! I think we have tried everything on the menu and never had a complaint! Love the family atmosphere and friendly family that owns it!

The Donair Egg roll is the BEST. I've been here 3 days in a row just to get that since my Air BnB is literally across the street from Metro. Staff is friendly, pizza is good, the wings are good, I think anything they make is good. Like I said I've been here 3 days in a row lol. Another good sign is there are allot of regulars and Metro knows these customers by their first name. This seems to be the neighborhood pizza spot and I can see and have tasted why =).

Amazing. We have had the subs, pizza, garlic fingers and wings. My whole family loves it and I personally think they even have the best take out wings in Halifax.

I can only speak for the donair poutine right now, but I've had it like 5 times and it's delicious. It's not salty like you'd normally get and the fry to gravy ratio is just right. The staff have been friendly each time.

This place is my go-to for cheesy doughy goodness. This isn't some fancy artisanal style pizza, this is affordable fill your guts feast pizza. Their garlic fingers are your traditional maritime style with donair sauce and are a personal favourite.

Solid, friendly neighborhood old school pizza parlor. Excellent crust, not too thin not too fluffy, tasty tomato sauce and loads of top tier cheese. There is plenty of seating inside with some outdoor tables and chairs on a deck as well. Tonight we test it's reheatability :-).

Yum yum yum. I had a cheese pizza with thick crust. It was delicious. Every pizza place uses a gross cardboard , pre made crust now. Metros crust is sooooo delicious. I also had a chicken wrap, made perfectly. No more pita pit for me. Thank you for my supper last night. I was really happy and will be back again and again. Your friend at 41 Melrose.
