We ordered Basbousa and kunafa. Both were fantastic. Service is up to the mark. They made live kunafa so it was fresh, hot and delicious. If any one love these desserts this place is highly recommended

Tried their popular Roasted Lamb Shank from here. It had very good portions with a choice of salad or fries. Dish was really delicious and more than enough for an average person.
Eventhough the entrance to this restaurant is a alleyway it got a very good ambience inside with all warm lights.
Price is moderate but dishes justifies the price.

Go for the food. We had the Syrian Kebab and the Chicken Tandoori.
The salad, rice, and fries with the garlic sauce were perfect to complete the meal.
We were just driving around and discovered Google Maps (new to us) feature to write in the cuisine of food you like, and this restaurant came up with a few others.

Great food and good quantity for the price. The lamb shank was very well done (maybe just a bit more spice required), but was fall off the bone. Well seasoned mandi rice, not overly spiced. The fries were some of the best I've had!

Very nice place and good food! However, the baklavas don’t taste good and are bland. The koftas were also somewhat dry. Other than that, the chicken, rice, and lamb were very juicy and flavorful.

We went there and had Lamb Shank, Kebab Platter and Jumbo Shrimp. First two meals were really tasty but we found the Jumbo Shrimp on a salty side. The restaurant staff were kind enough to not charge us for the Jumbo Shrimp and let us order something else from the menu instead.
Loved the professionalism and the hospitality.

Went for lunch and ordered Syrian Fried chicken and Lamb Shank. Fried chicken taste good here. One of the few halal options of fried chicken in Halifax. Lamb Shank I wouldn’t recommend coz I think it wasnt well cooked.

This is a Syrian 🇸🇾 restaurant in downtown Halifax. Good food and friendly staffs. Went to check out first time and given the area competitions I would say their food portions are much better than any others.

Been here a couple of times now because the food is reliable.
This time out again, the food was good. I got the Syrian kebab. As usual the garlic sauce and spicy sauce was amazing and added the best touch to the food. However, it seems like the kebab pieces have shrunk in size. I was not too bothered by it as the food was still great.
However, the service was not the best. Although the waitress got us everything we needed, I noticed them rolling their eyes at us a couple of times. Now i don’t mind if you are smiling or not, but rolling the eyes is a bit much I find.
It was also pretty warm in the restaurant. But we were sat next to the kitchen, so maybe that’s why.
The baklavas here are okay. But I’ll probably try them on a better day again.
Overall, food is good but environment not the best. I would suggest takeaway for the best experience here.

The food is just AMAZING!!! I was so amazed when I visited 902 restaurant for the first time! The food tasted sooo good and the portions were so generous . We ordered chicken, beef shawarma and lamb chunks with rice . The garlic sauce is very well done . Everything tasted so great that I decided to never eat shawarma again somewhere else lol
You should never look for other restaurants when you d like to try middle eastern food .

Very delicious and have a large menu of middle eastern variety. We tried most of their barbecue options and they were all good. Lamb chops were really well done. Rice was full of favour as well. If you go there you have to try their cheese konafa “akawi” which its serving size is plate size and can easily be shared by 2 to 4 people. Reminded me of Konafa i had in Istanbul.

I love the fajita, but my recommendation is to serve it with few tortillas too. It is usually only served with rice, decreasing rice quantity and added tortillas would be good.
