Cacao 70 - Halifax - Photo album

I had an enjoyable experience! The only thing I would nitpick would be the lighting inside the restaurant. It gives the place a rather dark and gloomy vibe, especially during night time. They also have really friendly and attentive staff, which was a delight. The food was delicious. I would recomme
First time here, was awesome. Food was great, service also was great. I've been to the original in Montreal and this was just as good. Will be going back for brunch and bring as many people down there as I can. Definelty reccomend the hot chocolates, and the Waffles were perfectly cooked, which is
They no longer serve pistachio chocolate! But the service is still good, even though the server ignored me a couple times, but in their defense, they seemed busy.
Heard a lot of recommendations to this place so we finally checked it out. Had the outlaw chicken waffle, although it doesn't look like a super filling amount of food, I was stuffed. Thought I'd have room for dessert but had to come back later that day to try their volcano. My partner had the savory
Very kind young people running this place! We got the milk chocolate fondue and it was great. The chocolate was delicious, the waffles were toasty, brownies were chewy and dense, and the fruit was fresh. Fondue chocolate was quite sweet - would consider mixing the dark and the milk chocolate next ti
Loved their crepes Delicious hot chocolate and shakes Great taste Very friendly service Beautiful interior decor Great place for brunch or just a snack Didn’t like the lattes though
The food was delicious and made in a timely matter, the only complaints were: we weren’t aware that you had to pay at the counter so we had waited a while for someone to come over to give bills/ clear plates. Until we ended up just going up. The place decor is cute, although looked very cluttered in
This place provide mini grill with marshmallow fruits and chocolate to make your own S’mores. Atmosphere is friendly. Its also a good venue for kids.
Service isn't exceptional. Location is lovely and the food is always spectacular though. Have been there a couple times and have had their crepes and fondue. It's a great place to go with friends or even yourself for a nice quaint brunch. I like the location because you can easily include a water fr
The desserts are fancy af. I recommend the chocolate fondue, waffles, crepes... Honestly everything slaps here. Sweet little location as well.
Was suggested this establishment from a Marriot Waterfront concierge. Great recommendation! The menu has lots of options to try without being overwhelming and all stay within their area of expertise. We tried their regular fondue focused on fruit with only a small portion of waffle. Each ingredien
Delicious! We were walking on the boardwalk looking for something sweet to eat when we saw Cacao 70! Having been to a location in Montreal previously, I already knew what to expect. The food was delicious and VERY chocolatey :) staff was very friendly.
Just had chocolate from there. And it tastes so real! Comes with two marshmallows will melt in your tongue. It feels so great to have that warm feeling of both. Ambient is so great, inside and outside! Loved the warm vibes at waterfront!
Been to a couple of Cacao 70’s in Canada, and to be honest surprised at how small the menu is here. The food is yummy, but I thought the portions would be bigger for the price. The waitress also forgot our drinks, but she was kind and apologetic about it.
Really beautiful and tasty dishes with big portions! One dessert could probably be shared between two people.
Great eats and sweet treats. Home made ice cream with very yummy fresh toppings. Full Barista bar as well. Best double Americano I've had in a long time. Won't be our last visit.
