Never been in that restaurant before. Was pleasantly surprised by staff and food. Food tasted excellent. Never had Mexican food before. Was stuffed after meal. We had their deep fried ice cream for dessert. A must do. Will come again to try out other selections.

Highly recommend calling ahead and placing a reservation if possible. My husband and I were one of the last tables to walk in without a reservation, this was on a Thursday evening as well. We ordered the Fajitas, a burrito and a nacho dip. The food was delicious and we left feeling happy and full. The staff at the Mexi Bayer's Lake location were very friendly and helpful as well as they were extremely busy running around. The washroom definitely could have used a spot check, there was TP all over the stales and floor. Overall I would highly recommend checking out the food at Mexi's Bayer Lake

Adam was our wait staff for the dining experience. We went in seeking margaritas, and left with full bellies, and laughter in our hearts. Eating vegan can be challenging sometimes. Mexi's was accomodating and provided satisfaction in their vegan burito.

I visited Mexis for the national holidays with my wife, I had the opportunity to try their special dish of the day, which was very delicious, my wife tried the Ronchata and was delighted. Hayley attended us, she was very friendly and very attentive in the service, it was a pleasant visit, I recommend this restaurant, it should be noted that it was full during the day but I made a reservation and I had no problem finding a place

First time going in . Very lovely atmosphere and friendly service. Free wifi , (ask service staff for password. ) Free housemate salsa and chips. Good size portion meals and fresh with lots of flavor. Service was very attentive and friendly.. 👍 👍

Yesterday i tried Mexi’s for the first time and it was a good experience. I sat on the patio which was beautifully decorated. Our server was really nice and explained anything i asked and suggested alternatives. We got free nachos and salsa to start with. We ordered a strawberry smoothie and upside down volcano with no alcohol which tasted amazing. The main course we had was loaded fries and veg burrito which I didn’t like at all. Its a bit pricy as compared to how the food tasted. The dessert was churros which were very fresh and crunchy. The butterscotch sauce that it came with was good.

Our Server Adam was above and beyond incredible with his customer service experience and made our visit extra special. The food was delicious and the decor was very eye friendly. Well done and highly recommended. I noticed the artwork from the road and had to go check it out.

Amazing ambience! Great look, murals & atmosphere. Scrumptious Mexican food, tons of variety! Even provide Spanish lessons if you want to multitask 😉

I’ve been coming to Mexi’s for years and have never been let down by the food. As always, I got the chimichanga with loaded fries. We also got the steak fajitas and lunch tacos. Everything was fresh and tasty and the pitcher of margaritas went with the meal perfectly.

Amazing service, tasty food, and big drinks! We were served immediately upon entry, the margaritas were delicious and so was the food! It came with so much I had to take some home! :) oh and you get Chips and salsa served to you at your table. Best experience I've had in a restaurant in a while!

This has got to be one of the best places for Mexican Food i have ever experienced. And the beer and Drinks were great. Guacamole was to die for. I highly recommend this place.

We went yesterday for dinner. The margarita was good, but, the food left something to be desired. I ordered the enchcillas. The meat in them was tough, the rice was bland, the refried beans where lumpy and bland as well. The service was good, but, the food was not great. Certainly not tradtional Mexican food.

Strawberry margarita was delish! Our meal was engh, but we did see the deep fried ice cream being delivered to many others. We had no interest in dessert but everyone was living their ice cream.

The new menu is delicious. Fresh marinades made from scratch gives a fresh new flavor and intricacy to their chicken. AND THE TACOS AND NACHOS ARE YUMMM! � Service is always friendly and prompt. Their Kindness is always appreciated and noticed. Would like to try the tequila line up as well!

Spent Friday evening with my friends and coworkers at Mexi's, our server Zach was fantastic and the food was amazing, I had one or two, ok maybe three of the best margaritas ever. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable and we all had a great time. I'm sure we'll return in the near future!

Food was good. Salsa was delish. The host was very perceptive, she allowed our daughter to choose our seats. Lost a star because our server didn't have any urgency. Would recommend. We will be back next time we visit Halifax.

My daughter and I went later on Saturday night. We were not eating but went for the $5.00 Margaritas. The Margarias, however, were not the slushy ones we like so we ordered a picture of Sangria which is also on sale on Saturdays. The Sangria was delicious, the service was great and we LOVED the rooftop patio.

I miss your guys' food! Especially the nachoes, I used to be a regular at your Halifax location. Ever think of starting a location in Calgary or Edmonton?? I always drop by the Halifax location at least once everytime I visit Halifax!

Everything about mexi's was wonderful, food, atmosphere, drinks & service were second to none! Chris, our server was amazing & showed a genuine interest in us making us feel comfortable & very welcome even though we were the last to leave.
