The Lion's Head Tavern - Halifax - Photo album

Went here for the Trivia Night. It gets really, really loud in the evening so keep that in mind. It’s more of a spot to have drinks and relax, chat with friends. I personally enjoyed the atmosphere for trivia night. I had the Lion’s Head Burger which I liked. My other friends had the flat bread and
The new building is very nice, lots of room, it can get quite loud in there but the atmosphere is amazing. My first time visiting I had a server who was not very friendly they rolled their eyes when I ordered a cider and they were all out. Second time visiting had a very lovely energetic server. Foo
Our first visit in Halifax! Our accomodation host recommended Lion's Head. Very spacious, good for small and large groups.
I came here with a group for lunch on the patio. The service was very friendly and helpful. The menu specified which options were vegan and gluten free. Some menu options were both.
It's been a while since I went to this restaurant. But I can't forget the taste of this restaurant's “seafood chowder”.😭 It's really more delicious than other restaurants' seafood chowder. Everyone has a different taste, but for me, this is the delicious seafood chowder that I have tried in Halifax.
Had a great visit today! Staff still amazing food and service was awesome. I haven't been there in many years since I've moved away. it's so great to see the wonderful makeover they have made on the place.
Must Try. I had the big breakfast and wife had the bacon Benny but swapped to the English hashbrowns. Overall portion sizes were massive for the $. Quite pleased about that. The scrambled eggs were the true way to cook (chef style) them and were absolutely on point. Hashbrowns while they were good
I attended an NSP Retirees function there. As soon as I got in someone greeted me and showed me where to go. Staff was very friendly and took my order right away. I used to go here after old fellas hockey game 25 years ago. The place has gotten a beautiful face lift. I'd go back
Great staff that are engaging and helpful. Knowledgeable about the food and drinks. Chowder was the highlight of the fare, but a good steak and filling appetizers. The atmosphere is endearing and great for catching up and conversation.
We had not been in years, the new construction is lovely. With a roof top patio, and a second floor. Big screen TV's and darts room. We went for their Tuesday wing 🍗 night. They have a nice menu as well. Lots of options for wings, like salt and pepper our favorite! We did order a basket of the mediu
Went with a group of ten for a birthday. Food was enjoyable especially the cajun haddock and the steak night specials. Fries are not fresh cut but the nice mix of fresh veggies was appreciated. Food delivery here always seems prompt.
I had the pleasure of dining at Lion's Head Tavern recently, and I can't praise it enough. This place deserves a solid 5 stars! The combination of their Middle Eastern menu and classic pub-style offerings sets them apart. What truly impressed me was the quality and authenticity of their Middle East
