The Lucky Penny - Halifax - Photo album

April 29. Lucky Penny coffee co Totally cute wifi password. Lovely staff. Tax included, always nice. High average price for latte - very tasty, well done, but not really warm enough to get through on a slow sip. Very limited menu or choices. So main focus is the liquid. Cute decor... Very close quar
This cute little cafe is located on Quinpool Rd., and offers speciality coffees and delicious baked goods. Prices are on par with others in the neighbourhood and generally service is fast. The inside space is a bit small and awkward if you're with more than two people. I suggest the 'Kitchen Sink' c
Location is very cozy, with a bright setting thanks to the open storefront. Prices are fine, service is fine. The Americano isn't exactly the best Americano I've had, but by no means is it bad.
If you have a moment to sit back and relax with the locals and clear your thoughts from rhe hussle and bustle of tourism it is a great place to visit.
I go to this sweet place at least once a week (sometimes more). it's always cozy, the staff are always good humoured and I can see the goodies being made/baked right in front of me. Plus the coffee is SO good (I get Americanos) and it's a great neighbourhood place, with a homey but hip vibe.
How happy am I to have stumbled upon this lucky penny, a great space for kicking back with a book or even to have a meeting. Beautiful interior to match the fresh food and awesome espresso. The seating is well laid out and the lighting is great.
A sweet, cozy coffee spot with great decor, calm acoustic music and lively conversation. They have their own merch, delicious drinks and comfortable mismatched furniture. They also sell local artists work on the walls, a really nice touch!
Really sweet vibe and a simple menu with just plain great coffee!
Had a good time with coffee and a pumpkin loaf. Love where it located, clean and spacious washrooms, lovely smile of a worker there. But it close too early (6pm) and I hope the chair can be more cushy ;)
First visit, with my granddaughter. It is a nice cosy cafe on Quinpool Rd. The menu is small but we tried B.O.B. and were very impressed with it. We were not as happy with our cappuccino, but there are very few cafes in Halifax that make a good one. If I am in the area again, I will probably p
The space is nice, and the quality is good; but there's something about this place; When I attempt to communicate positively/kindly, my words often fall on Deaf Ears, or the kindness is not reciprocated. However, immediately following my purchase, a Lady behind me was greeted with glee and conversa
I love the atmosphere. The bathrooms are clean and equipped with change tables, diapers, and feminine hygiene products. Nice service, and a variety of seating options (ie. tiny tables, large tables, and benches).
The foam on the macchiato was a bit more than I'm used to, but the consistency (basically microfoam, like a cloud) was heavenly! I definitely recommend stopping in & the chocolate dipped shortbread is great! I'm planning to go back to try to rhythm + beet latte made with their in-house beet syrup.
Warm place، delicious muffin and fresh, the place is small and needs upgrade the wall and decorations. It looks like a family business. Ppl work there has a welcome smile
excellent coffee. had the north mountain medium Peruvian. also enjoyed their sandwiches. nice atmosphere and very friendly staff
Really great cafe. Full bodied coffee, comfortable environment, handcrafted tasty sandwiches and the best peanut butter cookies in the city. Recommend!
Great spot. Coffee is excellent. Hard to get a baby stroller in here, so best to get coffee to go if you're with a little one.
