Fantastic service!! The owner was extremely friendly and attentive and I would go back just for his great service. The food was delicious and MSG-free which was a huge bonus. It's the first Asian food place I've encountered in Halifax that can actually guarantee that they don't use any products with MSG. I had the rare beef pho (homemade broth cooked for 16 hours) and the crispy spring rolls. It was all sooooo good! I will definitely be going back!

I live local and dropped in on a recommendation from a friend. Fast, courteous service, the prices are great and the food is great. I can only comment on the pho/spring rolls (as that's all I've eaten from there) but both are very good. I would strongly recommend you patron Pho Maxim.

Fantastic food. I came here for the first time yesterday, and immediately came again the following day. It's got the best spring rolls and pad thai in the city. I got the pho as well, which was delicious, but I've only had pho once before so I can't comment on how it really compares to other pho places in the city. I'd strongly recommend checking this place out.

My colleague and I wanted to try Pho Maxim instead of Chinese for lunch one day and were pleasantly surprised! We had Banh Khot (mini pancakes) and crab ragoon, and grilled Shrimp and fried eggs on steamed rice, as well as the grilled beef dish. It was a very nice and light meal with a wonderful taste. We have since gone back for lunch and had the Beef and pork rice dish and again ordered the crab ragoon. The meals are wonderful. Glad we tried it out. We often comment on how we need to get back and try another item on the menu. You have to try it out.

This is a nice Phò place in the Halifax suburb of Sherwood Heights. The staff is very friendly and will recommend options if you're not sure what you'd like or how you would like it. They have a nice selection of Thai and Vietnamese soups and noodle dishes.

Hands down best Pho in the city. Comparable to any major city in Canada from Toronto to Vancouver. Broth is spot on and the noodles are a wonderful texture. I ONLY WISH it was closer. I'd eat there every day!

I eyed this place for a bit and asked someone else in the strip mall if they'd recomend it and they told me to check it out so I did. It's a little pricier than I'm used to paying as Vietnamese restaurants were a dime a dozen when I lived out west, but either way, it was tasty and plenty of food. I tried the springroll vermicelli and it was really good. The girl working cash was very helpful as well :) I'll definitely go back.

The best Vietnam food you can get in the province. Especially the spring roll, which is like the most well stuffed ones in the world. With reasonable price and great service, it is absolutely worth of the money.

My first taste of Vietnamese cuisine & I loved it :) We tried their mini pancakes (special order - you have to call ahead for them to cook them fresh for you), crab rangoon & two orders of fried rice. So fresh and such wonderful flavours, and the gentleman who served us was incredibly helpful and welcoming. We've been back again already & will make this one of our 'regular spots'!
