We had a wonderful experience at niche! We went with a group of friends and everyone loved their food, plus they had a great happy hour. The restaurant ambiance and service was great.
We got several dishes which were all very good, but the pulled pork mac and cheese was the standout of the bunch (unfortunately we didn’t get a picture of it though).
The latest incarnation of a Halifax institution. Much better than their last location. Still not sure what the vibe is here. Is it a sports bar? Is it a lounge? Bit of an identity crisis. Has a bit of a big box vibe a la Boston Pizza or Jack Astor's if that's your thing.

I ordered a club sandwich with a side of fries. The food tasted good, but would taste better with an alternative choice of less dense bread. I also tried the nachos which were very average but it was expected. My friends ordered a mac and cheese which looked exceptional but tasted also average. I was a little annoyed when I was charged for mayo (basic sandwich offering), and even though a small amount, just left a bad feeling at the end.
Always love niche! I come here weekly and their food is always tasty with decent price. Their happy hours never disappoint you. I love their atmosphere here and the servers always friendly and helpful! I’ll keep coming back for even a beer! Cheers! The most my favorite bar in Halifax!
Drinks and apps are reasonably priced during happy hours. I would suggest going for the Martinis if you are there on a Thursday - same price/liquor content as the cocktails, but tastier and with no ice to water things down! Our server was really lovely as well. Great place to kick back and get some drinks and snacks.
Liked my first time being here. The food was decent. Everything went better because of the staff! They have a lot of tables tho to accommodate groups of people!
Always a good time at Niche. Consistent service, prices, selection, and quality. Always lots of sports on the TV's but a quiet enough spot to have conversation.
Alex, Bish and Matt are the BEST bartenders in town. Love this place and their cocktails. Nachos and wings also slap.
Hosted a large meet and greet event in the 2 private rooms. The food and service was excellent and the atmosphere and space was perfect for what we were looking for. Highly recommended booking these rooms for any event!
Very nice staff quick service and great products
Changed my 4 star to a 5 star because of the amazing new improvments at the new location, the food menu is creative and is being executed very nicely, I have not been disappointed since eating at the new location. Also, the drinks are always made to perfection!

Great spot for work functions, they have a private room that gives you an opportunity to enjoy a gathering in an intimate setting. Highly recommend.
