First time here. This was a very cute spot! Service was great! Waitress was really helpful and friendly. She explained the korean dishes very well. For an app I had the dumplings, they were tasty and the bibimbap was the noodles, beef, chickpea and mild sour. Food was fresh! It was absolutely delicious! I will be back!

Excellent freshly prepped bibimbap and rice cake stew. Was there the first time and the lady who served us was very friendly and answered all of our questions. Very nice and calm atmosphere. Didn't realize the place existed for a long time

If you are looking for a meal that is healthy but great taste, you must come!
Fresh, neat, nostalgic meal it was.
I think I would come more often just to feel my mom’s cook.
P.S Put less sauce then you can taste more flavors!

Walked by this place last week on the hunt for food, sooooo happy my bf and I decided to try it out!! Absolutely delicious! Fantastically simple menu, perfect portion size, fresh veggies. Personally when I go out miso soups are hit or miss with me but I LOVED their miso soup, LOVED their kimchi. Nice cozy interior, very welcoming. The day we went in, it happened to be one the coldest days yet and the owner was so kind and immediately brought us complementary tea (normally you pay). After loving the soup and main course, we obviously had to try their dessert and oh my, perfect. The food tastes great, fills you up,but doesn’t leave you feeling gross and heavy afterwards. We’ve already been back lol. Our new favourite place !

We were walking along Quinpool and found the Bap House. We were greeted with very friendly service and a cup of rice tea. We took the cute window nook to people watch. Nice calming atmosphere with music and plants on every table and tasteful decor. Both our dishes were delicious; we had the make your own bibimbap with tumeric marinated chickpeas and mixed vegetables and a wonton soup with rice cakes in a beef broth. The presentation was very beautiful on bamboo trays with lovely tableware.

Awesome place to eat in or order out. I always order the Create Your Own Bibimbap and it's super fresh and yummy. I've got dietary restrictions so finding a good dining out place is tricky but they cater to meat eaters, vegans, vegetarians, and folks with no restrictions so it's perfect. The owner is super friendly and the sauces are homemade which is a nice (and delicious) touch. This place is fast becoming a regular for me!

The owner of Bap House really makes the place worthwhile, in addition to the food. We had a nice conversation with her, and Bap House is more than a job for her – it's a passion. Every dish, including the sauces are made mindfully and with a passion. Our visit felt more like an experience than eating out. We really appreciated the food and the conversation we had with the owner. I recommend a visit. It is worth supporting local, and supporting somebody who clearly wants to share their passion with others. Bonus: the menu is traditional Korean food but it is also modernized. Proteins can be vegan or meat. They are also gluten friendly!

Wow, what a great little spot! I stopped in for lunch today and couldn't have been more happy. I never tried Korean food before, so my server was exceptionally helpful. I tried the Bibimbap with rice, beef, egg and spicy sauce. It came fast and was topped with lots of tasty vegetables. It was a very healthy and tasty meal! Lots of options for vegetarians. Service was great, food was great, I will be back!

Fantastic food and service. Came here on a chilly day, was welcomed with a nice hot cup of tea first thing. The bibimbap (noodle, beef, egg and ginger) was delicious, perfect portion. The owner was incredibly friendly thanks for the lovely experience. Coming back for sure :)

Absolutely great. There's a clear passion put into the fare, and it results in some extremely fresh and delicious bibimbap. You get the sense that they take pride in their work, and are always ready to answer questions or inform about the specifics. Will definitely be returning.
