Lovely little spot that serves food late. Service was extremely friendly and helpful. Food was good and portions appropriate. Nothing stood out as exceptional, but at the same time everything felt very comfortable. The washrooms were quite clean but noticeably in need of a bit of maintenance/renovation compared to the main area.

Garlic fingers were great. Really liked how the cheese went right to the crust.

My mother and I went here for supper before heading to see the Tattoo. I've been to Freeman's before but my mom hadn't. We were both very impressed with the food and the service. Matt is a fantastic server! :)

Never been to this place before, it was quite fun experience dining in and also they have Pool table for someone who likes to have gaming experience.

We ordered the greek pizza and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and the fact that they are open till 2am is great cause we had a late night craving and really enjoyed it there! Great for a quick meal specially if you’re having a late night craving like we did🙂

Surprisingly empty for what great experience I had there. It was a refreshingly decent prices meal compared to everything else in the area.
Chicken pesto pizza and garlic fingers were 10/10 tattoo and perfectly cooked.
Servers were very accommodating and friendly. She let us know about a BOGO half off deal after we ordered. She could have easily made us pay more for less for. $11 pitchers.

Got in late to Halifax and this place was recommended by our hotel. A short walk and we came upon it. Glad we did it made our first night turn out great. Sever was friendly, beer was cold and appetizers we had were cooked perfect. Great bar and tables laid out nicely. Made a second stop through our vacation week as it really is a fun place to hang out.

This is a tight-knit little Freemans! The venue is small but it's personality is the BIGGEST! Located downtown Halifax, admist the other bars, clubs and pubs, I find this bar doesn't get too rowdy, though it does get loud. They just got a BRAND NEW POOL table! There's Buy one, get one half off well shots, weekday AMAZiNG specials for dining in, and overall, for a good night out and some pub grub, this is where I go.

Came for lunch and almost wanted to stay for supper aswell, ordered a small "lil' Frankie" pizza and it was AMAZING the flavour was on point and the perfect temperature. Great selection of drinks and the server was on point, he had a great attitude and was full of emergy but carried himself in a professional but casual manner and made my dining experience wonderful. 10/10 would recommend.

It's the best place to get chill and my friend and me had a buffalo chicken wrap with medium spice and it was really awesome, one of the best buffalo wrap we have ever had.

I was recommended this place and of course had to check it out. more of a restaurant/pub style place if you’re looking to sit down and have some food with cheaper drinks.
I didn’t order any food but from what I could see it looked pretty good, the nachos seemed like a big hit.
I ordered a drink called the bees knees, which was gin based but I wasn’t 100% sold on it because it was very sweet. I could barely taste the gin, which to some that’s good, but this one was just over powered with sweetness.
if you’re looking for cheaper drinks before hitting another pub or looking for a good sit down area that isn’t crammed, I recommend this place.

Best poutine I had in years. The best part was the thick gravy. Didn't drench the fries, which were also excellent. Highly recommend getting the fish and chips but upgrading to a poutine.
