After having lived in Korea for just over 3 years, I can tell you that this is the most authentic Korean food in town. They offer some of my favourite dishes that are tough to find in town at a good quality. Also, the staff are friendly and timely! They have a great lunch menu! It is comfortable there. Just go!

Went the day after the restaurant opened, and had a great experience! As a Korean, it's hard to find food and especially authentic Korean barbecue out here but Gangnam really hits the spot. Great service, enormous portions, and a great environment

First time having Korean BBQ and it was delicious! There was 4 of us and we had the BBQ for 4 with pork belly. Short ribs, beef and chicken. The marinade was amazing! Very tast! The service was amazing too, very polite and friendly. Highly recommend.

Just went there last night with my family. Have 2 children aged 8 and 12. Ordered the 4 meat barbecue combo for 3, some pork dumplings and an extra rice. The food was fresh and delicious! The meat was very well marinated. Great portions of meat! Loved the soup, salad, side dishes, rice and veggies that comes with it. Great customer service. Strongly recommend it!

We ordered the Everything Combo for 3 people, Pork Bone Hot Pot for 2 people and Eel rice bowl. We love everything so much!! The portions were enormous with very reasonable price, even though it's located conveniently right in downtown Halifax.
It could be a bit tricky finding parking spots, so you may expect some walking uphill to get there.
Been there a couple times now and the food is to die for, all the BBQ options are delicious with thicc portions; my only sorta complaint is that they have Sapporo but not Tsengtao beer wise, but thats not even a real complaint. Delicious, absolutely. Service is quick too, so you don't have to do the awkward "is this cooked enough?" dance
Got the bibimbap and the spicy stir fried chicken with vegetables. The chicken was fantastic but had next to no vegetables. The meat portion of the bibimbap was quite small. Overall very tasty, we enjoyed our lunch here.
Great Korean food restaurant. Been there few times with family and friends. The price and quantity are balanced. Service is reasonable and not generally delayed. Would go back at some point.

I've been here twice for lunch over the past 3 months and both times have been great.
The servers are extremely attentive and will help you cook any BBQ items you order. The food comes out in a timely manner and I never found myself waiting long for anything—including refills for side dishes.
The decor is simple but lends the perfect atmosphere to the type of restaurant I'd want to consistently revisit for lunch.
As far as dishes go, everything was solid. I was pleasantly surprised by how good their Chicken Yakitori appetizer was. It was complemented delicious, perfectly cooked, caramelized onion and carrot. My personal favorite was their Spicy Tofu Soup/Sundubu. I'm not used to having it with beef (it had a generous amount) but it was great value and taste for the price and overall a hearty meal. I think the next time I visit, I'll definitely try the hot pot share items because they look so good!!
I really like this restaurant and after moving back to Halifax from Toronto, it's nice to finally find my new favorite Korean spot.
Absolutely had an amazing time and great service. We had the table BBQ with the combo of all the meats. We stuffed ourselves and still had a bunch to pack up!
