Came for a Saturday Night supper with a friend. We didn’t have a reservation but didn’t take long for us to find a table. They do have a beautiful patio too but we were seated indoors given the mild rain.
I tried one of their wood stove oven pizzas and it was brilliant. The crust was exquisite in taste and thin too.
My friend had a vegan/vegetarian pasta with a custom choice of sauce. She absolutely loved it too.
The ambience, decor and the service as plenty good too. Can recommend if you’re looking for a nice dining experience in Halifax with quality Italian food.

This has become my favourite wood fired pizza spot in town! I've dined and and had delivery, and both times were absolutely amazing. We had the Tuscan (twice) and the Quatro Stagioni. The pizzas are light and delicious. Also loved the spindip - leaving the artichokes whole are a nice touch - even though I would've liked a larger portions.
And last note - if you're dining in, make sure you have their chilli oil because it goes so well with their pizzas!

My adult children, hubby and myself had an opportunity to visit La Piazza Resto last evening. What an awesome experience. Our server Karine was so amazing, ( we wanted to take her home with us!) and she deserves top marks! Each and every dish, from our appetizers, to our entrees, to our desserts were simply perfect. Served hot, fresh and beyond delicious. Hats off to the La Piazza team. We can't wait to return!

While we live in the neighborhood, it was our first visit. The service was very good from start to finish! It was a very cold night and we were very cozy inside. A pretty expansive menu was presented to us and we had a hard time making up our minds as a result. Deep fried cauliflower was worth it! Pizza was very tasty. Unfortunately my wife’s chicken kabob was not really a kabob and was just off a bit. Regardless we will return to try again during patio season!

We have had 2 fabulous meals here visiting from Victoria BC. Diala our server is warm and engaging and has a beautiful smile. The lobster ravioli was sublime just the right amount of creamy rose sauce. The pizzas were the best we ever had and we love wood fire pizzas. Our only issue is this is a bit far to be our favorite neighborhood haunt. Thank you for the delicious lemon cake-subprimo!

One of my favourite little gems in Halifax. The food is delicious and the service is always wonderful. They go out of their way to keep their customers happy and it's a very warm and happy atmosphere. In the daytime it's a lovely spot to stop for lunch (in the summer there's a lovely little patio) and in the evening it is beautifully low lit which is wonderful to watch them cook the pizzas in their open kitchen. They have a beautiful fire oven you can wee and its certainly romantic st night! Great selection of beer and wine and the pizza keeps us coming back. The BBQ chicken pizza is a fav of ours and though we rarely eat desert we always do here! The Chocolate Fondant (lava cake) comes hot and delicious, not too sweet and their strawberry shortcake even gets my husband to eat desert! Highly recommend checking out this lovely spot!

One of my favourite restaurants in Halifax. All of the staff are absolutely incredible. The food is amazing, they have a patio that can also be used on a rainy day. Wood fired pizza’s are a must.

My friends and I attended a birthday brunch at La Piazza today and were very impressed by both the food and the service. Our server, Alex, was attentive and friendly, and she went out of her way to make the birthday brunch special. The food was delicious. Two favourite dishes were the smoked salmon eggs Benny and the wood oven pizza. Thank you to Alex and the rest of the staff for making our visit a great one. I am looking forward to my next visit.

On Saturday night I Hosted a 60th Surprise Birthday Party for my husband!
It was an amazing evening in a lovely bistro with light jazz, fine food and awesome conversations with family and friends!
Management and staff went out of their way in making our evening perfect!
We loved having the entire upstairs dining room for our special evening! Lots of room of everyone to walk around and enjoy yummy appetizers, amazing pizzas and great wine and beer!
I look forward to hosting another event at La Piazza soon!

I was there today with 5 other ladies for a Xmas Lunch. I have to say everyone enjoyed it, pizzas are great but I had the Gourmet Grilled Cheese & OMG so good. Have had their pizzas, mussels, also very good. Great waitress staff, very attentive, would recommend.
