Went there planning to get the scallops as listed on the menu we had perused outside the restaurant, but were intrigued by the whole cod for two at an excellent price. Our server Iain was polite, efficient, low key, and informative. The fish was cooked perfectly, served whole on a board, with sides of corn on the cob and smokey potato salad. It was a special dinner that we will remember about our visit to Halifax.

Scallops with Brussels sprouts- unreal. Random seafood surf and turf done Japanese style- unreal. 13 oysters. Unreal. Will be back every trip back to NS.

We had a lovely dinner here out on the patio. We started with oysters to take advantage of the happy hour special. I love the condiments they serve with the oysters (lemon, fresh horseradish, hot sauce, and mignonette). The oysters were very fresh and perfectly shucked with no shell fragments on the fish. I ordered their spicy pineapple margarita and my partner had a tall ship amber. Both drinks were refreshing and delicious. The shrimp and scallop pasta was next and the brownie for dessert. The staff here are very friendly and we will definitely return.
Loved it here. Super friendly and considerate waitress. Ordered a Seafood Petite Tower that came with two different sets of oysters, half a lobster, tuna sashimi, halibut, and chopped scallops. Absolutely delicious. We also ordered a separate two sets of oysters which tasted quite different. Was nice trying them all. The seafood chowder was amazing as well. Highly recommend and would come here again.
Went for happy hour $1.50 oysters. Not bad. Limited selection from their normal offerings. We hung around for a more substantial meal (burger) which was a bit of a let down. My recommendation: get in, get out for happy hour.
Came here during happy hour (4-6pm) for the $1.50 oysters - very fresh and satisfying. Ordered a couple other dishes to try and we discovered that the fish & chips here are to die for! One big piece of fresh fish in thin panko crust - yummy. We didn’t have enough and ordered more. I’m not a big fan of thick greasy batter so I really enjoyed their version. The octopus salad, on the other hand, was a little fishy for me.
Excellent place to go for happy hour oysters ans wine. Service was awesome on October 25th the server by the lounge hightops gentleman that took care of me was awesome. Wine selection fabulous, oysters amazing fresh

Shuck seafood+ raw bar is a very nice restaurant located in downtown Halifax near the waterfront. We went for the happy hour which is between 4-6pm daily. Happy hour consists of $1.50 oysters and $2 off of wine btc and draught beer. The oysters were fresh and tasted great with the mignonette that comes with it!

Happy hour is probably the best in the city. Oysters for $1.50 and $7 beer. Wish the happy hour menu was a bit bigger, like included some carb options for the beer. Busy at happy hour. Staff were shucking like crazy!
My boyfriend and I had a holiday. We chose this restaurant for lunch. The service was excellent. The waiter is friendly and patient. However, we do not speak English well, but the staff listened attentively to our wishes regarding the menu. Good impressions, tasty, romantic atmosphere. I ate pasta with seafood, the shrimp had an incredible taste, the scallop was tender)) 3 types of oysters - incredible)) I definitely recommend this restaurant! At least - taste oysters)
Great place for oyster happy hour in Halifax! Drink specials to go along as well. There are multiple selections of fresh oysters which are presented appropriately. We were very pleased with our meal and amazing server!
Came for happy hour oysters. They were a little on the smaller side but very fresh and needed little sauce to accompany them
My now husband and I had our wedding here in Aug, we were so excited when we set the date to do it at our favourite date night spot. We had a casual, indoor/outdoor cocktail style wedding and Melissa and the staff were so helpful and great every step of the way from setting the date planning and replanting the menu, set up, execution and catering to our every need. It really eliminated every worry I had as a bride of things going right at the reception and I was completely worry free. The food, especially the mini lobster rolls made specially from our request were a major crowd pleaser! Thank you so much for making our day so special! Highly recommend for any private event! For reference we had about 75 guests, indoor and outdoor bar casual seating, musician and music (with own speakers) Shuck, and the RCR group are very accommodating and it was the best day ever! Our guests raved about the food and drinks!

Hands down one of the best places to come to for fresh seafood in Halifax, especially if you're looking for lobster! The location is great, being so close to the waterfront and nearby hotels. The ambiance was nice and the service was friendly and wonderful - our server went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary restrictions. The seafood tower is great as a sampler to try out the variety of seafood they offer, especially if you're in a group. The shrimp & clam pasta was simply delicious, the squid ink added a unique touch. The whole lobster was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing too. Ended off the night with some dessert and coffee, totally worth the visit. Would definitely come back again the next time we're in Halifax!
