Greatly enjoyed the trivia event hosted at the HopYard. Reasonably priced drinks and appetizers, friendly servers, and a good atmosphere. There are a lot of appetizers to choose from, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. No set parking area but there are street parking all around the neighbourhood. Accessible and LGBTQ+ friendly.

First night in Halifax and walking by the HopYard decided to give it a try. Came on a quiet a Taco Tuesday night and had the wings and the crispy chicken and featured braised beef tacos. All of the food was excellent with a lovely coleslaw garnishing the wings. Service was friendly and excellent. Got a few recommendations for things to do and places to go which was appreciated.

We haven't even left yet, but I had to post because this place is unbelievably good. In the words of my wife, "Go to there, because your stomach will thank you."
We had two different burgers, fries, and ribs. Then we finished it off with a churro doughnut. Some PEI craft brews to wash it all down.
The ambiance is awesome - social, light, and clean. Records to sift through for purchase or playback on request at the bar. Servers were all extremely friendly and all in all I just can't recommend this place enough. We knew the PEI location was great, and they've clearly brought all of the same experience here to Halifax.

If I could give more stars. I would. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The beer was excellent. The food was incredible. We got the $60 choose 7 platter and we're not disappointed. Didn't have a favorite on the plate because each thing was AMAZING. I'll be back here for sure!!!

Went to private party. 122 people attended. They were doing fantastic job serve people. Did ordered donair nacho with onion rings. Love donair nacho highly recommended it. Onion ring maybe need go easy on deep fried its very crunchy 🤣 still delicious seasonal on it. Very friendly and does make you feel very welcome there. Look forward to go there again.

I've eaten at the Hopyard multiple times, and aside from the fact the food, drink and service are uniformly excellent, it's never the same thing twice, with a themed menu that frequently changes. This makes going there rather thrilling, especially being from out of town, knowing whatever I have, I will likely never eat again in exactly the same way. Also very affordable!

Some of the menu options are interesting, so if you are questioning whether you'll like something or not, be sure to ask for things on the side. The folks there are super accommodating!!

Great spot for dinner and open mic. First place we stopped by when landing in Halifax. Server was very nice and suggested some good beers. Will come back when we're here again!

Burger week burger is a must have! Loved the flakey pie. Bathroom was very clean and looks newly renovated. Nice spot and will be back!

I've eaten at the Hopyard in Charlottetown many times and it is one of my favorite restaurants. With an electric food menu that changes bi-weekly and a variety of craft beer on tap I was hoping this trendy spot would live up to the original.
The food and service were both exceptional and meet my high expectations. I can't say enough about this spot and hope to be back again soon as every visit is a unique taste exclusive.

I love this restaurant. This was my second time going here. The first was 2 years ago when I was in Halifax. I have also been to the Charlottetown location once. I ordered the Peach Flatbread which I was very surprised with how good it was. I would definitely order it again. They have a good selection of vinyl to put on. I selected Currents by Tame Impala. Such a good record!

The place was full when I was there. There was a three people band playing music and singing; it was good but loud. The place had a good atmosphere overall. I don't drink alcohol, so I can't contribute to that. Food, prices, and service were good. I would recommend for friends gathering during the week.

I go here every Wednesday for Music Bingo. The host Devin is amazing, as are all the servers. The menu changes every month but there is always something tasty, and they have lots of vegetarian and gluten-free options. There is also a good selection of local craft beer and cider. Highly recommend checking it out.

My favourite spot in the city.
I've been there a few times already since trying it, and can confirm it's still one of the best foodie experiences in Halifax.
The portion size and price on their plates is perfect for sharing and getting a chance to try new things. I'd recommend going with a group that enjoys 'family-style' eating if you're looking to try everything on the menu.
If you wait a month, a brand-new menu comes out. It's an experience and a half, and I'd recommend it to anyone who loves trying new exciting food in a comfy atmosphere.

Great restaurant with friendly staff and a great menu that's always changing. I have been going here for about a year and havent been disappointed yet.
One thought is to have customers vote on a favourite starter/entree of the year in order to bring back favored dishes.
EDIT: The place is still amazing, food is a bit pricier due to inflation but drink prices are essentially the same.
We finally came across a dish did not like a few months ago but they were kind enough to let us try something else instead.
